Team out for warmups. Still no sighting of Brooks

Brooks wasn’t out working out with the team. Didn’t see him at all. Must be in the locker room or training room getting work done on the ankle.

Brody Fox is averaging 33 ppg currently shooting 1-8 from 3. He's a 6'6" bouncy, quick athlete. TT and Mathews might have their hands full tonight.

70 with no 3's attempted and only 31 minutes of play.... wow! Had another kid that game score 33 with no 3's attempted and only 25 minutes of play. Won 147-126. No defense at all being played in that game lol Looking at the box score it doesn't even seem real

Thanks. I hadn't heard anything more either. Yes, let him rest up and come back for the game on Friday. No need to have him play tonight.

Interesting. I did not know that. I know other schools, for example Jamestown at the NAIA level has had a 'non-profit NIL collective group' set up that helps the athletes get NIL deals. That must be why. Does UND have any such committee?

Random thought but do any of our guys have any NIL deals?? NIL plays just as much of an impact in the transfer portal as anything else. And it will continue to play an even bigger factor as the years go on. Not sure exactly how you would go about getting guys deals but I'd assume it would have to be Bubba building connections with local business owners trying to get guys deals. Chaves helping get guys deals?? Just a thought.

Yes that is true. Nero chucking is not a good thing. The issue is we get no scoring from the guards other than Omot and now Treysen being more aggressive. They need to find a way to get more scoring from the starting guards.

I agree with everything but the Grant part. He doesn’t bring much to the team either. Nero shouldn’t play. But at least if he’s in he’ll chuck the ball up and maybe score you some points. Grant doesn’t even look at the hoop when he’s in. We don’t need another guard that doesn’t even look at the hoop.

There were some positives in this game. Just need to keep building off of them. I’m glad to see Sather took over the subbing responsibilities this game. Much better subbing. A couple stretches that Omot was out too long. Sueker another solid game. Couple bunnies he needed to finish. Treysen needs to keep building his confidence and being aggressive. Overall some positives they need to keep building off of.

We need to go to a 5 out motion offense in the half court. Allow for more room for our drivers to make plays to the hoop. Opens up the court a lot more.

I'm not 100% but I believe the basketball changed last year. I know the ball can change depending on the school and what ball that team uses. Like at Creighton it was Nike basketballs that they used and played with. And UND plays with Wilson basketballs at home.

Would be a huge statement! A lot of confidence built in the game last night, especially for some of the young guys! I'm looking forward to watching the game Sunday
