Nice ball on 3rd and long from Mr. Noodles

Agree. Bigger crowd than I thought there would be
-
I don't feel great about the game today
-
You're going to be hoping for a while!
-
I've had this happen before. Sign out and sign back in and should hopefully fix it. At least that's what solved my issue.
-
I can agree. That was one of the most boring games I’ve ever been to
-
Let’s see Hong the whole second half. The crowd needs some excitement here

No one is arguing that. It is standard at the moment. All some of us are saying is that since they have to schedule non-D1 games, they should at least schedule more quality non-D1 teams. If UND is really that scared to lose to a solid D3/NAIA team at home then we have bigger issues....
-
I literally just provided a solution. Schedule better non-D1 teams. It is really that simple. I can guarantee plenty of good D3/NAIA teams around the area would be all for playing an exhibition game against a D1 team because they know it will make them better. As well as it would make UND better than playing these 50 point blowouts.
-
I'm sure the players love playing in a non-competitive 50 point blowout 4 times a year!! I bet the fans enjoy watching it even more!! I'm also sure these games really help the team be at their best and prepared when it really matters, in conference season and in the conference tournament! *This is all sarcasm.*

I completely understand the issues with scheduling and why they have to play the D3/NAIA schools at home. Completely get that. My biggest gripe is that they keep playing the bad teams at that level. Try and schedule the better D3/NAIA teams so that the games are at least competitive. It really does nothing for UND to play Northland that they beat by over 50 or a Waldorf or a North Central. Sure your bench guys get some playing time, but when it's a 30-40+ point game it isn't even competitive and doesn't really help much. Try get a Morningside (Iowa), Northwestern (Iowa), Jamestown, Dordt (Iowa), or other teams that are consistently top-25 teams at that level to come play a competitive game that helps both teams get better. But then again, I guess you run the risk of losing to a NAIA team on your home court and nobody wants that.

Can @gfhockey buy it with all these offshore accounts that he has?
-
Yeah we don't need another cotton top as the head coach. Let's get someone half his age.
-
Plus there is home hockey. All the students will be getting ready for that
-
What does that have anything to do with the "2023 Football season"???
-
-
I've got the answer for you. It's fairly simple, really. Because the most important player on the field goes invisible in big games... There's your answer.
-
I would unfortunately have to agree
-
A giant Mike Hawk logo on the helmet would be the most ideal imo

Just looking at the box score now and one thing that jumped out at me is that Deng Mayar only played 8 minutes but had 3 steals. We haven't really seen what he can do on offense, but man does he have long arms and is able to cause a lot of havoc on defense. Brooks had 6 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal on 2-2 shooting. I really like Brooks and what he brings. I still am worried about shooting on this team long term as teams get more and more film on them. Besides Treysen there isn't really anybody that can shoot. For example, late in the first half we tried to run a play to get Omot a post up. Brooks threw it into Omot and he almost immediately got double/triple teamed because we had Brooks, King, and Mara all standing out on the 3 pt line with TT on the other block. Which led to Omot skipping it to Mara who put up a bricked 3. Teams will notice this and start to just leave guys open and dig down/double down on anything in the post.
