This includes the starting QB who is a captain and leader of the team as well. Nothing about him exudes confidence or is going to motivate anyone. No excitement, no fire, no emotion at all. Nothing but nervous energy from him in any big game. He'll put up stats against schools that don't even know they have a football team though!

I wouldn't be against that. King has had flashes, but hasn't shown much consistency against the D1 teams. The only thing to possibly think about is maybe Brooks is one of those players that does better coming off the bench rather than starting? Like you said though, as long as he's getting lots of minutes I don't think it matters too much.

Omot is currently shooting 14% from three on 7 attempts a game.... How Danielson still gets more minutes than Brooks is absolutely mind blowing.... I don't love Omot playing the 4, but there should be thoughts of starting Brooks over Deng and moving Omot to the 4. The season is young but through 5 games Deng hasn't really provided anything Amar was a great addition. If he keeps playing like this, he should be putting pressure on a decision to start him over TT

I see Tommy 'The Cannon' Schuster had another all time performance in another big game. I wish I could say I was shocked.... 11/17 for 137 yards...... 1 TD and 1 INT That stat line from your starting QB isn't going to win you any games against any decent team. As for moving forward: 1. Tommy needs to go 2. Whole coaching staff needs to go 3. Get a young, motivated, and inspiring young coach. Keep as many key players as you can. Then fill in the holes through the portal.

Glad to see that we got the win!! Like others have said, it should be illegal to not have a stream for a D1 game in 2023. Sucks we won't be able to watch the game today as well.

I hate to break it to you, but Brady D is statistically our worst defender and it isn't even close. Actually, he is one of the worst defenders in the country.... I know a lot of people are going to hate on me for this, but I am just posting current facts. Brady D gives up 1.316 points per possession, good for bottom 3% of all players in the country. He is allowing opposing players to shoot 70%, with an eFG% of 85% on their shot attempts with him guarding them...... Take that however you would like.

I agree with basically everything you said there but this. The defense so far this year has been very very underwhelming and pretty much the same as last year. With the length and athleticism this team has I thought they would look a lot better on defense but I haven't seen it. The main cause of it all is the lack of a true big man that can protect the paint. As well as the overall defensive philosophy from the coaching staff plays a big part. Pacific got wide open look after wide open look last night. How many wide open dunks/layups did they have last night? Too many. They shot 53% from the field and 42% from three as a team. On the year teams are shooting 47% from the field and 40% from three against us. Those aren't great numbers especially with 3 of the games coming against a bad NAIA school and 2 not very good D1 teams.
