I have multiple basketball and hockey season tickets as well. Won’t be dropping either of those for other reasons.

It was also strategic to announce it on the first day of March Madness hoping that it would get lost in the shuffle and less people would see it. Our athletic department is a joke

I’m dropping all my football season tickets as well. I’ll just pick up some tickets for free on game day when they’re giving them out to try get butts in seats

I agree McBuckets! I would hate to be playing in March Madness and all the memories that come along with that. I would way rather be sitting on my couch watching the game while playing for a team that isn't even eligible to make the tournament.

You keep trying to throw this narrative out that there is some "angst" or some "prior issues". You couldn't be further from the truth. Some people just don't think he is a good coach at the D1 level. I would say that is backed by many logical and legitimate reasons that have been pointed out in this forum, but also proven by his win % in 5 years at UND.........39%. It has nothing to do with Sather specifically. Some people just want to watch UND win games at a higher clip than 39%. It is really that simple pal.

Let's not get it twisted. BJ is NOT just "leaving for the money". Sure, the money part is a nice added bonus for moving up a level. But that is not the reason BJ is leaving so not sure what the "tougher questions" are that you feel need to be asked.

And that is fair. But as a grown adult to say that it is unfortunate that a 19-20 year old is getting offers well over $100,000 to play college basketball is just a very weird statement. Really strange behavior honestly.

The main thing really holding him back is the 28% from three this year. Even with that, I'd assume a decent amount of teams, especially Minnesota, will be all over him when he hits the portal. He'll find a good spot and make close to or even more than six-figures. That will be a good choice for him and his family.

I really hope he doesn't leave!! But it wouldn't surprise me if he left to go to a lower level where he can play as well as be closer to home in the Chicago area
