Let's not get it twisted. BJ is NOT just "leaving for the money". Sure, the money part is a nice added bonus for moving up a level. But that is not the reason BJ is leaving so not sure what the "tougher questions" are that you feel need to be asked.

The main thing really holding him back is the 28% from three this year. Even with that, I'd assume a decent amount of teams, especially Minnesota, will be all over him when he hits the portal. He'll find a good spot and make close to or even more than six-figures. That will be a good choice for him and his family.

I really hope he doesn't leave!! But it wouldn't surprise me if he left to go to a lower level where he can play as well as be closer to home in the Chicago area

Another point is I think a lot of people are forgetting about Mara and the jump that he is going to make going into next year. He joined the team like the first week of school so was behind from the beginning. He has the tools to be a perfect 3 and D guy. He is physically ready to compete at the D1 level. Just needed to get acclimated to UND, the system, and college basketball. A full year of practices and a full summer with the team and he'll be ready to go next year. Hopefully he is on The Gun the whole summer getting up thousands of 3's!!
