Please tell me you don't think that the players and coaches perform according to the thoughts of a group of 40 guys/gals chat on a team message board! And for the record almost all of us have higher expectations than you suggest; the only issue is most of us do not keep rehashing negative history to support our thoughts.

If I recall correctly, the UND football team scored 50 points and WON a football game a few days ago, yet the conversation here is that the team sucks because of things that happened 10 to 20 years ago. Also, if memory serves, the starting QB went 22-26 for 200 plus yards, but some are still calling for his head. Haters gonna hate, but this is nuts. Countdown to how I and many others support mediocrity in 3, 2, 1...

The lake crowd keeps this from being over 9000. Not the team's fault as I feel there's lots of excitement for UND football this year.

Until UND beats them, I will not count them out for anything.

1982, I was on the third floor. We brought a small keg into the building. Things were going swell until we got to the third floor where my friend dropped his side of the keg resulting in a rather noisy boom. The RA was down the hall, and by the time he got out of his room all was good. The best prank I heard of in Walsh history was when the guys filled a 12 gallon garbage can with red Kool Aid. They rigged it to their buddies dorm room door. When he went to pull the door open he thought someone was holding it on the other side so he yanked as hard as he could causing the entire 12 gallons of red Kool Aid to spill all over him and his room.

Some posters think we need to get away from the former UND guys to get ‘new blood.’
