Those teams didn't have the fortitude to win a game like this.

As recent as 2 years ago, this would have been an actual LOSS, not just a purported one. Be happy with the W, be mad at how they played for most of the game.

Without any research and relying only on my fading memory, I will state that even at the highest level, great teams have won games against crappy team and didn't feel like they had to apologize for it.

Nope For the glass half empty guys it was a horrible victory which should be considered a loss.

But this is NOT a loss, it's a WIN. Yes, they didn't play well, but they won. Why can't that be celebrated? Why does that mean as some have noted that it should be considered a LOSS?? It's a WIN. They found a way to do it without playing a good game. JUST WIN BABY!!! FYI those teams at the end of the 90's turned the corner for UND FB which led to a Title in 2001

I walked out when they took the lead with 45 seconds on the clock. I was ready to join a few of the posters here. Get to my car and listen to the end. The Offense had to make the plays, the Special Teams had to make the kick, the D had to hold them to a FG and the O got the win with a TD. A great game. Some teams NEED to face adversity and it doesn't matter how it comes. Today, they didn't face adversity, they overcame it. Must carry this over to next week.
