I'm not affraid to say that I've admired Craig Bohl during his time in Fargo. I met him on campus one day when my brother was attending NDSU and we were at the BSA playing raquetball. I was wearing all Sioux gear and gave him a jab about UND having the Nickel, and he was very professional about it, and took time to talk for a few moments. I still want to think that Bohl has control of this situation, and they will right this wrong that has occurred here.

Thought exactly the same thing today after watching an episode of through these doors or whatever it's called. Not many teams get their entire top unit back from the season before and had Nelson decided to stay I think UND might have gotten a vote or two more for the top spot in the league. Chemistry is a wonderful thing and Knight-Nelson-Kristo had a bit of it.

Best time of the year. The time of the year when all the big predictions are made and half way through the season we throw them out the door. Could anyone not named Minnesota or Boston College please win the national championship?

This will be the true road introduction to the big sky. UND does not match up well defensively which means a Wild West shootout on the road if they want to win. If the defense holds them to 25 or less they have a chance.

I think UND still finishes in the middle of the pack in the big sky. Still taking baby steps.

Gap play was terrible. You know you have issues when a qb scores from three yards out on a straight sneak.

If you can't tackle on defense and stop the run you will lose most of the time.

You know.....Before this all came out I was anxious to hear the fine details. Now that we have a detail by detail report I wish I hadn't.

Agreed. This horse has been beaten, brought back to life, and beaten again. People have their opinions of what happened, which is why we all come to the board to get it off our chests (or get away from the wives) . I'd rather be talking about the goaltending situation, or defensive pairings, or powerplay units. I'd rather get into arguments over that.

I'm very thankful that UND's offense was able to control the line of scrimmage and run the football. You look at the boxscore, and it makes you wonder. How in the world does a guy go for 9.3 yards a carry and 140 yards and not get into the endzone? How do you give up almost 500 yards of offense, but only give up 13 points? I guess thats why we keep watching.....something always amazes you. PS: Nice to see Garman get into the game.

Cut the crap.... I'll eat crow though. Bend but don't break, but they only gave up 13 points. You give up 14 or less on the road and you have a great chance of winning in any conference.

Be careful what you say about the defense....or you'll be told to cut the crap....

It'd be nice to see the offensive line really control this game, and UND have a better pass-run ratio. Don't get me wrong, Hardin and the crew need to get the football as much as possible, but it'd be nice to win the line of scrimmage, and really dictate the football game from there.

Like him or hate him, I'm thankful that Kristo is around for another season. Could have bolted to the AHL, but part of the reason that he stayed around was he absolutely loved playing for UND and was having a great time at UND. (A college kid enjoying college....huh). I could get upset and ticked at the kid for all the off the ice stuff, but that would make me a hypocrite because I did the same stuff in college. But I was way better than Danny at not getting caught. He broke team rules, he's paying for it. Just think, if Gleason was the assistant captain instead of Kristo, we probably wouldn't even be bringing Danny up.....we'd be talking about how Kristo should have been in over Gleason.

I hope you're right. Missed tackles and some blown coverages have burned this unit so far this year. I think they have the talent to be a good defensive team. I guess I'll cut the crap, even though I'm not the only one to put them in the question mark category.....

That Friday night game against Anchorage will be a replay of last year. Talk about short bench.... Not the greatest of starts off the ice....

Glad that the captains weren't the only ones to be punished in this whole ordeal. The university provided documentation to the police which I believes therefore gives them the right to file MIC charges against these young men. A college kid getting an MIC....GOODNESS!!!!! You still have to wonder "what if" in regards to how public this goes without the NDSU incident coming into play.
