I will agree. Does a very good job of calling the play by play. But the great ones don't let you know what team they're rooting on.

Kind of a good measuring stick on the road this weekend. Playing a disciplined team that won't run around, and make you earn everything. I'll not go out on any sort of limb and predict splitsville this weekend. It will be nice watching all of those high profile Minnesota High School hockey players out there that didn't end up at the U of M.

I think someone already said it. Leadership. Who was the leader of this team? Who was the guy that got the group ready to go? I'd like to see someone step up next year as the leader of this team. Whether it be Mollberg as the freshman starting QB or Hardin as one of the best players at the FCS level next year. On the QB front I'm on the Mollberg bandwagon. He's got all the tools to be great.

Hadn't heard duckies and bunnies for a while....made me laugh. Tough not to be a realist about what we're seeing defensively. Its calling a spade a spade.

2013 wish list: Defensively ~I want to see fat run-stoppers. Big tub o-jelly lineman on the inside that will clog up lanes and eat up blockers for our linebackers. It'd be nice to see guys on the edge with some speed that can maybe get to the QB. ~I want to see cornerbacks that can tackle, and not get beat on double moves. ~Agree with previous post. If you look like dog crap in the 3-4, time to get away from it. Offensively ~Need to figure out how to run the ball to keep the defense off the field. Whether that means three yards and a pile of dust in the wishbone, one back sets, or the I......running the ball effectively would be an upgrade. ~Playcalling. This will get better with running the ball more effectively. But can we go at least one game where I don't scream at the computer or TV multiple times. Play action becomes so much more effective as well with a running game. Special teams ~Hardin returning kicks needs to stick. Need more from the punt return game. Its adds to his play total, but I wouldn't mind seeing him return punts as well.

NDSU did get a bit of a tough draw schedule wise. You have to beat good teams to win the NC, but hopefully some of those good teams have been knocked out already by other good teams. This will definitely be a test. Looking at.....South Dakota State, then New Hampshire, then Georgia Southern, then Eastern Washington or Montana State.

AJ lost me after like three sentences of his rant....After about a paragraph its like who the hell cares. Nobody feels sorry for you, just quit the team and be done with it. Cripes.

True. And that team did get smoked by Maine at Alfond. Not a pretty series.

Only team that didn't fit the struggle right away mold under Hak was the Frattin group. If this team stays above water and keeps paddling, with the history of second half surges, they have a good chance of getting a top three finish in the league, and hopefully a good seed in the NCAA tournament.

I'm a Berry fan all the way. Extremely glad he came back to Grand Forks. But when the unit you were hand picked to coach has a night like Friday night.....Had Saunders not been sharp they could have given up 8 goals. I have faith in Berry. He'll get the unit turned around.

Redshirt freshman is now handed the offense. I've yelled and screamed and kicked at the defense all year. Everyone and their cat knows they need to get better. Have to make it happen or next year could be a long one with a rookie under center.

I think Hak said it best all along. Duluth is a tremendous team thats record doesn't show it. At the same time, UND didn't play their best hockey this weekend, but found a way. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that defensive zone coverage will be addressed in practice this week. Unless leaving the points unoccupied is the new strategy defensively. PS: Nice to see the coaches make a statement and have Gleason upstairs tonight. Now its up to Joe to work his way back.

I agree with Kober....Duluth earned a helluva lot more than they got this weekend. After UND tied it up it was all dogs.
