I'm upset with the direction the team has taken. Pig with spatula (as my two year old calls them) is not about regular season championships. Pig with spatula is about getting it done in the postseason which they obviously have maliciously pissed down their leg in back to back seasons. And as far as I know they didn't even gain home ice in their playoffs. Likely because of that tie. Dean Blais would have gone 7-0 and found a place to call home ice for the playoffs.

With the fleece hats as a recruiting tool you shouldn't lose a game. I think that your team is too pampered. Every one of your games should be played in an icy parking lot with limited lighting. If you don't win a championship within the next three years regardless of winning percentage your team needs to look else where. My son is a huge fan of pig with spatula, and this type of stretch is unacceptable. No championships in his lifetime.....

It becomes a 5-3 in overtime because of the multiple penalties to the U.S. Its a weird rule. I can't find it anywhere online. But it is a rule I promise. Had the U.S. killed it it would have gone to 5-5 until a whistle, and then 4-4 play resuming.
