I saw some highlights of the girls yesterday and that Curl girl for Bismarck is just a woman amongst little girls. Wonder how she doesn't end up at UND.

I think more notable to me was the Herald noting that Bagley only got the puck into EGF's zone 11 times the whole game.

If the Sioux sweep the Mavs it could effectively just about end Dean Blais's coaching career. If the Mavs sweep the Sioux Dean Blais should never come to Grand Forks again. Whoops, I called them the Sioux twice. Which is exactly the reason they're struggling now.

It would be the biggest upset in state hockey history given what Central has done this year, and what they did to Minot earlier this year, although it was the first game of the season.

I didn't think Red River played their best game. Dominated the first period and then just kind of coasted. Great individual play by Costello is the game winner but they didn't really blow the doors off Century, and the shots weren't one sided in the end either. Ill take them tomorrow in a close game against BHS. It's got OT written all over it.

Red River gets by Century 4-2. Gets the other Bismarck school tomorrow.

Bismarck wins 4-2. There was a point in the second period that was all Devils Lake. If they get the go ahead goal on one of the pucks that the Bismarck goalie some how got to and take the lead it's a different ending. They took one shift off defensively, lost a race to a loose puck, didn't pick up f2 going to the net....ball game.

All Bismarck now. Their depth is hurting DL.
