2-1 Finland after 1. Very impressive period for the Finns. Good time to get back to the room and talk about life if you are the USA.

I'd assume almost a home type atmosphere at Mullett Arena for UND. A lot of retired ND fans live down there and have season tickets to Sun Devils hockey. This weekend their tickets really pay off for them. Big weekend for the team. Sitting at #21 in the all important PWR. Two wins would be fantastic, but being more in reality 4 points would be ideal. TJ playing his former team, I see him having a fantastic weekend in the net.

I think if team USA can go up two goals in the third it'll be lights out for the Czechs. Really good defensive period for the boys.

Of all the teams that should know how tightly the tournament is officiated. Its just the way it is.

Czechs oust Canada.

Looks like the Fins which means USA and the Czechs or Fins.

USA plays Czechia if they win. If Canada wins they play Finland if they win. If Slovakia and Canada win then they play Canada.

Interesting outcomes this year to say the least. I think its safe to say that Central will end up at the state tournament, but after that its really up in the air in the EDC. Out west I think I've seen enough to say that Minot, Century, and Legacy are locks to be there. Century has played the EDC teams on their schedule tough. OT with North, a 1 goal game (with EN) with WF, and beating Sheyenne. The same could be said for Legacy in matchups with WF and North, and played Minot tough. Could be a year with multiple west teams making it out of the QF at REA. Been a few years since we've seen that.

NDAHA puts together teams after tryouts. They play Sioux Falls Power in best of three. Winner heads to nationals.
