Denver is fun to watch, unless they're playing your team.

After what happened to this Denver team last year you can just see the determination they are playing with. They are absolutely flying right now.

IMHO Michigan State should be begging Gwoz to sign on and be the guy. Get some buzz going around the hockey team again in East Lansing. Bucky got a popular name, created some buzz, and they were an OT win away from making the NCAA tournament this year. Plus I'd feel way better about Sparty beating us in our rink if Gwoz was the head coach.....

He turns 20 in May, and I read that a player can't be over 20 before December 31 of the draft year. So yes I think?

Great post. What I've learned: 1. You can purposely run over a goalie, laugh about it during the ensuing scrum, and finish the game. 2. You can grab a players face mask right next to Brad Shepherd and it's not a major penalty and a game as per the rule. 3. Head contact penalties do not apply to all players in the league. 4. Its okay to go after an official and require two linesmen to hold you back while you scream obscenities at the official, but not okay to question a call (ten minute misconduct actually) on your way to the box after a questionable call and your team holding a one goal lead late. 5. Guys who dive right after their team has been penalized to get an even up call will never....ever....ever.......ever......get an embellishment penalty.

Wilkie just befuddles me. All that success in the USHL with a 35 goal season and almost a point per game average his last year in Nebraska (66 penalty minutes) and then at UND he can't score.... Like I said, I'm wrong a lot, and Wilkie will probably be in a suit more often than not because Gornall works his sack off every shift. I'm probably selling Adams and Jones short as well. Both will get a chance.

I've followed him and Nigel Dawes quite a bit with Astana. Has really done well over there, and kind of unique that he and Nigel Dawes played for Kazakhstan at the world championships. Glad to see he's the captain, not sure how long he has held that title there.

There will be some penalty minutes, but imagine having to play against that line. Admittedly don't know much about Mishmash, but Schloss said he plays with an edge. 1. RPM 2. Bowen-Janatuinen-Gersich 3. Hoff-Wilkie-Kawaguchi 4. Simo-Smith-Olson Call me stupid (I am), but I think Wilkie takes off next year if he is back. And if he doesn't then Gornall, Adams, or Jones is there.
