Russian dive....penalty on Denmark. Where have we seen this before.

Denmark yanks their starter to begin period two. Puts in the kid that all the TSN analysts have raved about.

2-0 Russia. From the sounds of it Denmark started the wrong goalie.

So far Denmark looks like they belong. Penalty on Russia about five minutes in.

Wow Finland....2-1 now.....shots really one sided, but I thought Finland would care more about not getting relegated.

I bet he gets at least two points tonight playing with Strome. Czechs don't matchup well at all against Canada.

News out of Canada's camp is that they've got Jost up on the top line with Strome and Speers or something like that.

Russia will sleepwalk against Denmark, but find a way to win. And then give the U.S. all they can handle in what will probably be their best performance of the tournament. Because that's what Russia does..... Hopefully Switzerland has 100 percent attention of the U.S.

And the quarters are set: -U.S.A. v. Swiss -Denmark v. Russia -Canada v. Czech Republic -Sweden v. Slovakia

Russia is such a weird team.....amazing how they look completely disinterested in this game yet lead 1-0. If they played this way against the U.S. or Canada they get beat 10-0, but are doing just enough to get by in this one. Shots are 24-10 Russia.

Pretty steady. Has fought the puck a little bit, but really had no chance on the goal, which was on a scramble.

Slovakia needs a bit of help defensively....Boy do they like to cough up the puck in bad spots. 0-0....so far Matej the first star....
