I think the coaches keep 29-22-17 together. Then again, anyone can play with 22-17. Hain and Senden are great together, gotta find the third guy. Cole Smith mentality please. Didn't get on the score sheet, but 21-14-28 was for 60 minutes our best line. Might have been Keane's best game. Don't have a finisher on that line, but they can grind away shifts in the offensive zone.

We move on to SCSU. Hopefully that guy that wrote the epic brain injury/Caufield to prison post last season stops by....maybe not. They still have a Brodzinski, and their goalie Hrenak has been there forever. How you replace a guy like Ahcan remains to be seen. They won three in a row to start. Then lost to a Western team with crappy goaltending. Three points would be nice.

That second period last night was fantastic. Minus the physicality part (which I don't think you will see much from this team), that was Sioux hockey. They bury their chances and its 3 or 4-1 heading to the third period. Scheel reminds me of Zane. Just air tight and then a softie. I didn't get a great look at goal #2 he gave up so I'll give him a pass on that one. If you asked me if I'd take 3-1-1 through our first five with Denver twice and Duluth with a Western sprinkled in I probably would take it most times, but feeling a bit upset at this point.

Yup, well said. Fantastic job by those three (19, 3, 15) in a tough spot and a long change.

Thoughts: -Scheel is so good at times and then one slips that just makes you wonder. -Moore had a solid game. Nice job by the rookie on the back end. -That second period was fun to watch. Made Duluth run around a bit, which you don't see that often. -Senior forwards have to step up. Adams, Kawaguchi, Mismash. Adams and Kawaguchi had superb chances in close that have to end up in the net. -Hopefully Hain is alright? -Nobody feels sorry for them, get the boots back on for SCSU on Saturday.

How good has Bast been? Just solid tonight.

First....no so good. Second.....our best period of the year. Third....even up.

Great period for UND against a good team. Rolling lines and creating chances. Good period for Scheel after that weak goal in the 1st. He was solid.

Terrible icing leads to a great scoring chance and then a penalty. Yup....

Terrible pass by Duluth and Reiger sets up Gaber. 1-1. Maybe it was Gooch who set him up.

I think Kiersted got away with a trip there.

Keane-Weatherby-Judd has been our best line.

Bad goal by Scheel, but the way the ice is tilted I'd say we deserve to be down 1-0.
