Michigan State owes me, I told their players what they needed to do to beat BC at the Budweiser store in Union Station on Friday.......
  2. Yeah, I held the door for your buddy going into the Scottrade before the Sioux/BC game, high-fived him and probably told him that I loved him.
  3. We walked over to the tents across the from the Scottrade between games, and couldn't GET a beer. Mr. HockeyMom waited in a long line while one bartender served a million people, when he got almost to the front, they announced they had run out of beer. We walked down to the Hard Rock in Union Station and downed a few. Come to think of it, we spent a lot of time at the Hard Rock this weekend.....it was a good time.
  4. We didn't make it there.....I dunno what happened. We were gonna try to get over there between the semifinal games, and it just didn't happen. After the game we were so dejected, we just went to the hotel and drowned our sorrows in a case of a beverage made somewhere in St Louis.
  5. After the award was announced on Friday, we were approached by fans from everywhere saying that Ryan Duncan is the most humble player that they have ever seen and that he represents the Hobey Baker award well. They also said that they were glad to see a guy like that win it. Congrats, Mr. Duncan. You deserve it! PS-the roar of the crowd when they announced Duncan's name was great! Kudos Sioux fans!
  6. Can I also add that when I just stopped by fightingsioux.com the pic of Porter after the loss broke my heart.....
  7. Thanks, guys. We're going to miss you. It is rare in this day and age to see players stay for four years. I'm glad that these guys did......and I'm feeling pretty fortunate to see these guys play their college hockey wearing a sweater that means a lot to me. Chris Porter earned my respect this year. He kept us in the Michigan game, he scored (which I have decided is my favorite Sioux goal EVER) the OT winner against Minnesota, and tallied another two against BC. He has become my favorite Sioux player this year, and will probably be one of my favorite Sioux players of all time.....he wore the C well. Good luck, boys!
  8. We drove. Left St. Louis @ 6 am this morning....rolled in about a half hour ago. MafiaMan, Jeff was on the bus....I didn't see him, but friends of ours did.

What a great Championship game. BC lost because of the bad karma of one of their fans telling me to sit down between periods..... No lie. Needless to say, they were gone before State scored their empty netter.
  10. If there's a keg welded directly to your riding lawn mower, and it's tapped, is that an open container? A'ight, I'm outta here! SEE YOU ALL IN ST. LOUIS Let's Go Sioux!
  11. .....but you will lose your Zamboni priviledges. Damn, I guess I'll be taking the beer holder off of the John Deere before I need it this spring.
  12. If he didn't leave the rink with the Zamboni what case did they think they had? Do you need a driver's license to drive a Zamboni? Granted, it wasn't the smartest thing to do....
  13. Don't forget the towns to the west of those. We watched the national semis there two years ago when the Sioux beat the Goofs.
  14. She did the pre-game.
  15. SSsshhhhh don't tell him. *hides*
  16. I'm just getting ready to watch Tennessee beat Rutgers in the WBB National Championship. I know, I know bball blech, but I've kinda been a Tenn fan since I was little and Candice Parker is a freaking machine.
  17. She's not one of my kids.
  18. I'll probably be packing everything in a hockey bag, so you'll fit. As long as you don't mind riding in the trunk you'll be fine.
  19. It's true He starts April 9th.
  20. I just packed your spirit. No need to cry anymore! GO SIOUX!!!
  21. I was really hoping that the Irish would have made the Frozen Four. I would have been sporting a t-shirt that said: Irish-Sioux What's the diff?
  22. I stopped in Scheels last night to pick Mr. HockeyMom up a fleece pullover and the sales lady said that they have been really busy with Sioux fans coming in and buying stuff to wear to St. Louis.....a constant stream of people. Looks like we'll have a lot of fans at the Scottrade.
  23. Pole? Stripper's pole?
  24. I did that. *stares*
