Ha ha this has nothing to do with anything (like all my posts) but this morning, when I went into the avatar's room to wake her up, I noticed that she had her WCHA Final Five towel taped to the wall. (ok, it was above the shelf with her USA Hockey participation medals so it does kinda relate to your post) I thought it was kinda cute, and funny.

I like the way Eades pulled on his jacket after the coaches hugged on the bench.

I'll be wearing Radke's white Frozen Four jersey from last year, and yes I will be checking people from behind, so stay sharp people.

I'm stuck up. We didn't go to the Gopher semi-final, otherwise I would have been over there to meet everybody for the pictures.

If we wouldn't have tried and failed to win those battles, there may not have been a win against Michigan. I'm looking back at the fair weather fans comments and how down we were. This is what's great about being a fan of a team that struggles and then figures out how to win. When you know what the agony of defeat feels like, winning feels 896875876897 times better. I wouldn't trade this trip to St. Louis for a better first half of the season. No freaking way!

Yeah, that's where were at. We do have some friends looking into another place and if that works out better we may stay there. The MetroLink station is across I-70 from the hotel. If there isn't a walkway to cross it, the hotel has a free airport shuttle that I plan on taking to the station.

The suites were allowed to have alcohol in them last year at The Ralph for the West Regional, but that was it. Thankfully, that guy behind me in the suite dumped a beer on me, and handed me free beer over the railing the rest of the night.

There's no way that I could have gone over to the Gopher's message board and congratulated your fans if the game had gone the other way. It takes a lot of class for those of you Gopher fans to come over here as fans and to wish the Sioux good luck. We really do appreciate it. We'll do our best to cheer on the lone representative of the WCHA in the Frozen Four.

I predict UND to win #8. 87, 97, 07.......lucky sevens baby! Destiny belongs to us. Everyone else, is just........toast. The Michigan game proved that when we are down, we are not out. I'm telling you, this team is something special. I hope that as many Sioux fans as possible make the trek to St. Louis because it's going to be something special! If you don't care about being downtown and want to save some money on the hotel room, try out by the airport I got rooms for $45-$55 a night. You'll have to spend some time on the light rail system, but the way I look at it, it's more beer $.

That's a little less than what I paid for a night at the Cockroach Inn.

We should definately do a SiouxSports get together somewhere. Where better than to have one than at the Frozen Four? Mr. HockeyMom and I will have freedom all weekend and won't have to worry about bringing our children into bad neighborhoods like the SiouxSports breakfast at the Hoggsbreath.

We were yelled at a lot on the walk from the Xcel to the hotel. My favorite was when the drunk homeless guy yelled "Go Gophers!" at us. Looking back at now, it was all worth it.

We are staying out by the airport. The Metrolink has a train station by the airport, and one across the street from the Scottrade Center. We're not going to deal with parking and traffic downtown.
