Ok, I'll admit, I hated the Nike Swifts when Team USA wore them and I hated the idea when UND was going to be wearing them over Christmas break. I was excited as hell when the team hit the ice wearing them against St. Cloud State......and again against MN in the West Regionals. The guys look like a bunch of bad ass beetles when they wear them. They have grown on me.....a lot. I hope they are wearing them when they hit the ice against BC on Thursday.

She was pretty impressive last night. Seemed like she had a pretty good following of Warroad peeps. I couldn't help but think how fast the puck moved compared to some other women's teams I've seen play in there, and how far behind our program might be compared to the likes of Minnesota. They need to let women start checking.

We're driving, leaving Wednesday morning and going a little out of the way to spend Wednesday night in Lincoln, NE. I heard that driving around Kansas City is kind of a pain, anyone know?

The Squirt team wasn't short, the Pee Wee team was. Our club requirement is that they are eligible to play with their age team, and move up if the player choses to do so. They can play both teams if they chose. It's a decision made by that player and their parents. Needless to say, our Squirt team was 86875876897 times better this year than it was last year. They played like a team. It was a fun season.

We're gonna win it all this year, you can't miss it! Besides, you'll be surrounded by Sioux Fans! JUST GO!
