I think Berry has this team right where he wants them. I remember prior to the start of the season Berry talked about how they want to not peak too early and look past the Penrose. He know what he's doing.

They won't pay taxes per se, but it was discussed at the meeting they would pay some sort "tax". The land for the casino would be in a trust and the land for the resort would be under the tribe. I think they would pay property tax on the resort side. I believe that's what was stated by Feland

The city said they would annex the land into city limits for infrastructure.

I don't see the state giving approval, the legislature just shot down sports betting due to concerns of gambling addiction and social economic problems. I hope it goes through and is a success. But I will hold my breath as GF dosnt like to have nice things
