  1. Zach Parise scores his 12th goal of the season in tonights Devils/Penguins game. Originally intended as a pass, the puck deflected off a defenseman to find its way to the back of the net.

So you must be congested too, which means when you say Eades, it sounds like Eaves.
  3. It was probably a more difficult shot than most people realize. Yes, the puck bounced right back to him, but he was at a very sharp angle by the time it bounced back on his stick. The GWG was actually a very nice shot, as he had very little net to shoot at, due to the angle he was shooting at, and the speed the play was occurring at. There was luck that it bounced back on his stick, but McGregor showed his goal scoring ability on the actual GWG. However, I do recall the Gophers getting a break on their 1st goal, when the puck bounced off the post right back to the original shooter, who then put it in the net, but I don't hear goofer fans mentioning that. Sorry, your boys didn't show that night. At least not enough to win the game.
  4. And the freshman didn't even get to touch that trophy!
  5. Amen!
  6. Jordan Parise pulls off a Ron Hextall, and buries a 190 foot shot to get the Sioux on the board. I don't care who scores first for the Sioux, as long as they score early and often!
  7. It all depends who they have broadcasting the game from ESPN. Yes, they have some good announcers, and then they have the bonehead who called North Dakota, South Dakota in the 3rd period of the 2000 NC game. Of course, they could have Melrose color commenting on the game, or working in the studio, as they did last year. However, he's BU/BC biased, so I don't know how enjoyable that would be either. I just hope they go with someone who has some knowledge of the college teams involved. Last year was pretty pathetic, as they kept repeating the same statements over and over again, as that's all the info they were given. I'm convinced that Jordan will be called Zach at least once this weekend, as it's happened the last two weekends the Sioux have played.
  8. They weren't the good looking ones! C'mon man!
  9. Better than serving the order..."Here's your baby back ri...WOOHOOO!!!...sorry about that sir, I sure hope you can get that sauce stain out. Baked potato? Yes, I believe that's under your rack of ribs." Anyway, I'll be watching the game at home with the dog, sharing my valuable insight on this wonderful board. Go Sioux!
  10. Oh good, I'm in the right place!
  11. I am also having trouble sleeping. When I do fall asleep, I either dream about hockey, or reading messages on this message board. Is that a sign of addiction? I think I need to take a break after the season is over! To cope with lack of hockey this past week, and up until Thursday, I'm watching games from the West Regionals and Final Five again. I think I've seen the last 4 games about 7 to 8 times each now!
  12. Being Jordan is rapidly approaching the winningest goaltender at UND, our past goalies must have really sucked! Goehring, Casey, Belfour, Jensen must all be chopped liver.
  13. Hey, that's actually reality for about 75% of the people in the town I live in!
  14. Here's the link for the video clip of the Holy Cross game winning goal against Minnesota last Friday. Holy Cross/Minnesota Game Winner
  15. Thanks Chris, and thanks for putting together a great clip. It's exciting for all of us to go back and live that great moment in college hockey.
  16. Zach Parise scores his 11th goal of the season in tonight's Devils/Sabres game. I believe that's 4 points in the last 5 games for Zach.
  17. Devils announcer after a big hit by David Hale in tonight's Devils/Sabres game
  18. Can't touch my jersey, as it was strategically placed on the couch after Wisconsin scored their 2nd goal in the first game of the Final Five. I haven't touched it since, as I know that's the reason the Sioux are winning their games! However, I will be wearing my green Sioux Hockey t-shirt, as that was the second part of the winning formula that I changed after that 2nd goal. Have to stick with what works!
  19. Take your own advice buddy. If a thread has bored you so much, why do you continue to read it, and as already stated, even post on it. Not only did the thread bore you the first time, but you re-entered the thread a second time to make a second post, indicating that you continued to read this most boring thread. This is a hockey message board. Coaches are a part of hockey. I'm sure nobody is excited by every single thread they read on the board, which is why we have the option of what we choose to read. Now that I've said that, you can continue on with your name calling as you did last week with my posts, which incidentally, were deleted rather rapidly by administration. With that being said, congratulations to Hak on an outstanding season. You definitely have my vote for the SP award!
  20. Sounds like the majority of their own fan base doesn't expect much from them. Yes, the upset of Minnesota was huge, but they did make it to the regionals two years ago, and this years team boasted 12 players from that team. You would think they would think they had a good chance at making the regionals again. However, I suppose no one expected 27 wins from the HC hockey team.
  21. There was a small post game with the Saturday night game. ESPNU did not show it, but the replay on Fox Sports North did show it. It's not really that great though. They don't talk to any of the players. They basically summarize the night, and show on ice festivities for a few minutes. Not really anything great.
  22. ESPNU is replaying Minnesota/Holy Cross tonight. I'll DVR it and put the game winner on tomorrow after work, unless someone else has the clip available.
  23. Edited original post to add a few fanshots, and the extended Oshie footage.
  24. I think I may have that one!
