Smith was fun to watch, might be my new favorite this year. Greyson has some potential. Good crowd for preseason against UJ. The freshman could be really exciting. But overall this could be a very long year, I dont see alot of wins this year.

That was a big miss. I was talking about the Moorhead coach. He waits one more year, maybe he is at UND. I still think Chavez will extend Sather's contract. We have new coaches in almost all the main sports and alot of excitement now from those teams, just wish Men's basketball would get the same make over.

We missed out last year not grabbing a rising star coach in our area in Bergstraser. That type of situation doesnt always come along. I guess we did get Sather as a rising star out of Northern.

The girls choked another one away today. 2 away from taking the game and lose 4 or 5 points to lose. Under Tupac his teams have choked alot of games away. As much as I was a big supporter of the Tupacs I think it might be time to move on. Very frustrating loss today. Now the football team better win or this will be a frustrating Saturday!

I dont think Denver or st thomas are at risk now. But in the future. The schools in the range are oral roberts, kansas city and omaha. Kansas city already tried to leave for the Missouri Valley. Still dont see what Fenton has done for the summit league.

The Big Mountain Podcast is saying that 3 new schools within the United Athletic Conference footprint will be joining the conference soon. He said all 3 schools are D1. Does that mean we could lose Oral Roberts and Kansas City in the Summit? We lose 2 teams that would be devastating. St Thomas has one foot out the door and Denver is looking to get into a west coast conference.

I get that but normally on signings there was some excitement for it. Preseason is less only a few weeks away.

Sounds like a big excuse to let our Athletic Director off the hook. We have girls on the volleyball team from all over the country. From Texas, Utah, Nebraska. Next youll say they dont have talent that is why they came here. I guarantee the girls on the team that traveled here from far away could have got offers closer to home then come to Grand Forks. We have a beautiful campus and excellent academics. The town is a college town that is way better then Brookings and Verm. SDSU doesnt have hockey and puts all their money into Basketball and Football. Now they have hired a coach that has upped their volleyball team. Maybe blame our athletic director rather then the weather. A few years ago our volleyball team won the Big Sky tournament and went to the national tournament that competed against a very good Minnesota team. Where did those girls come from that competed back then under a different coach??? They came to Grand Forks.

Also rumors of losing oral roberts and denver. Yeah Fenton has done well. We will soon have the university of Jamestown in the summit league
