I completely agree with you. Look at college football, it’s crazy that you can’t actually invest yourself as a fan in a roster. Worse yet, the coaching staff cannot rely on a certain skill set to be present so planning is completely out the window. It ends up being like sandlot football, whoever shows up plays. College hockey is my favorite sport and I hated to see this come. I agree with you. They should have to sit out one year, and, only get one transfer. That year that they sit out can be a red shirt, but they have to sit.

lol - correct, my wife went to UNO so I am a ‘secondary fan’. I am also a student of the game and watch the play away from the puck. I know the boys had to play physical to wear down the Mavs, but some of the play was just plain bullsh*t. You can say I look like a dipsh*t all you want, but I was at the game and saw what I saw.

I was at the game, the boys got away with some significantly cheap play. I’m surprised they didn’t get five or six more penalties the way they played.

I was at this game. That first incident, the clown left his feet and elbowed the kid in the head. I would’ve called that a major. I couldn’t see what happened on the second one, but that first one was definitely a major. I actually turned to my wife and said “that’s five for charging“, when the replay showed I saw the elbow as well. I have to admit, though the referees let the game be played.

Denver is the team I hate the most. Always have, always will. I don’t know what it is about that organization in the officiating that seems to follow them everywhere.
