We swept western and they played us well. UNO has a positive history against western through the years. This is a different UNO team. Remember they played six of seven NCHC series on the road starting early December. Except for the hiccups against Colorado college in Miami, they’ve been pretty tough this year.

I think we see them in Minneapolis.

I thought, with the exception of both majors, the game was played fairly even. If you noticed, Omaha became a bit undone as well after the Abate major. One thing I hope we can agree on is the officiating in this game was awful. Ruined what promised to be an outstanding athletic event. Dregger be Dregger.

Yes, basketball and volleyball flooring goes over the ice. From what I heard,it both get played on the same day (like last Saturday against DU) it affects ice quality to some degree.

Know what I’m saying is Denver committed at least six blatant penalties in the third period. We are talking open ice stuff here, not in the scrum. At least 5 minute major, elbow to the head call the two. Omaha’s penalties were warranted. Most of them were based on frustration.

We were in omaha visiting the in-laws. My wife is a Mavs fan (went to UNO). One of the best college games I’ve seen in a while. Very much old time hockey. Play of the night? Abate got cross checked and tussled a bit with a Pio, the kid punched him in the face and he laughed at him. Of course every time Savoie skated past, I yelled ‘Savoie you suck’, fans all around me cheered me on. Fun folks, good game. Not a fan of the Pios, chippy as hell when they went down by three. We might go again tonight!

The NCHC site isn’t carrying crap, and CBSSN makes it really difficult.
