ACU has a few FBS transfers on their team. I agree on Q, our line is getting some push we can do some misdirection runs with him.

Looks ACU will play lots of man with pressure on 3rd down, receivers need to make the catches. Let’s get a stop D!

We are playing like the atmosphere flat, players need to make their own energy.

Since I have been watching Fighting Sioux/Hawks football in the early 90’s. We tend play closer games then our neighbor to the South (even when we had our own win streak) Just Win Baby!

ACU needs this game also so they will for sure take some chances and give us looks that we have not seen. Even with smaller crowd and if they can make some noise it will help. My guess either we did not anticipate that coverage or someone missed a block. I agree Tommy shouldn’t have thrown it. They were aggressive to the pass to wr in the flats and with a four man rush and 7 in coverage, a team can do that. A dominant front 4 can win many games. Especially if a team is forced to throw.

Need to play well for sure. 7-4 we are in. 6-5 I doubt it.

I still feel we are a playoff team, not a top 10. Take away the turnovers it would have been a one score game. My ‘83 Raiders could win that way but not us.

Looking how small our defensive front is compared to NDSU and SDSU. I wonder if we need to adjust how we either recruit or go with a 4-2 type scheme. Maybe it’s our poor secondary and we need max coverage, but we have not pressured teams into making mistakes like we have in the past.

Part of that is Tommy, another part is 4!man pressure with maximum pass coverage

One thing about SDSU, they big, strong and fast on both offense and defensive side of ball. Only team that can beat them is themselves.
