  1. My point is, the issue isn't what goes on around the arena ,i.e. prices, @SiouxFan100 said it themself, "Ticket prices aren't a factor." If people want to go, they'll go. People just aren't wanting to go. If it was cheaper, that would be nice, yes, but that isn't the driving factor to get butts in seats. ON ICE product is a bigger driver. I'm sure they lost quite a few people for missing playoffs for the past few years instead of cost reasons.
  2. I'm a bad reader. Where does it say it increased attendance?
  3. The thoughts on the BIG10. They're not a superior hockey conference. And I'm no guru, but working in sports for some time, lowering prices is a slippery slope that doesn't mean attendance rises. You want attendance to rise in Season Tickets not single game. Once you lower prices, and it flops or doesn't help attendance, you're screwed because then you piss off people by raising again. You're better to keep consistency and rely and on the ON ICE product to drive attendance. More wins does that. Look at the Chicago Blackhawks, as much as I hate to use them as a reference. Success brings fans. They haven't bee super good the last couple years but they still fill the building because of that success from 2010-2016
  4. @SIOUXFAN97 I hope you're kidding. But to the larger point. Why do fans who attend care so much if students fill the seats? I'd be willing to bet that the students you want to fill those seats couldn't care less about the game or they would be there. No point in filling the stands with students who don't care. The ones who do care show up. And you show up. You're there, enjoying the game, and if they win thats what we all want. I could be the only one in the stands and would really only care if they win or lose. Not who's sitting or not sitting across the building.
  5. 7 goals and it took the 7th for a winner
  6. If they win the game who cares. On the ice is more important than off.
  7. This ties directly into the same mentality as beating non-cons. Win the series you SHOULD, especially at home. Miami, CC, Omaha, and WMU are all series where a split is the worst outcome. Beat the teams you should, handle business with better teams (at least, split) and we’ll be fine come end of the year.
  8. I wonder if it’s to promote sales. I’m sure not too many paid for the authentic plus customization charge of 400+ the last several years
  9. Which is good and bad. I want the real thing but will take the “official unofficial” on ice authentic for a cheaper price. Kills me the NCAA current player lettering rule.
  10. The price tag seems cheap compared to the ccm or Reebok
  11. And where is St Cloud? Oh, how the mighty have fallen.
  12. Same. Same.
  13. These are the games along with Miami CC Omaha and WMU that are needed wins. Should win games are must wins.
  14. Never noticed the logos before but CCM and Reebok logos aren’t as vertical as Adidas to be as noticeable
  15. Not jersey related but noticed the socks have the adidas logo on the front. Not a fan.
  16. Router reset did the trick. Just in time to see nothing happen. Ha.
  17. Anyone else’s NCHC.tv stream choppy and total !@#$?
  18. Did you pull the trigger on this?
  19. What are the prizes? I’ve looked (not hard) but couldn’t find anything. Hopefully something better than a complimentary otphj. Lol.
  20. That’s what I thought I remembered reading but couldn’t quite remember.
  21. Couch potato roll call here. I’m sure this has been covered already but does NCHC.tv not have rights to non-con games? Would like to watch but it’s not listed on UND or NCHC sites.
