I use the eye-test as well, I definitely disagree. Everyone wears Sioux jerseys. Classics, knock offs, 2010 style etc. I barely see any Hawks gear - except from some newbies to the scene maybe. I think once of the issues here also, is just that hockey as a sport and the fans are just more into traditions and things like that vs a lot of other sports.

The NODAKS isn't terrible and the jerseys ain't to bad either! This shows and proves we could support a new nickname and logo, and I would be on board if it wasn't a literal embarrassment to the school., Especially coming from where/what we had to give up and replace it with what we have now is base of the problem/conflict/argument unsatisfactory attitude among hockey fans - which is the largest revenue driver for the school so.... Look how fast and well the NODAK jersey's sell - sold out instantly. People will support a new logo if it is prideful and MEANS something!

The Schools " North Dakota" logo is literally on the ice. Also, the arena will be recontacted UND is never getting the arena. They won't be able to run it, maintain it or keep it as it is. It will be renegotiated UND would ruin this arena once its in their management.

A lot are returning, have one more year experience and a lot of the new guys now have at least 1 year playing together. Last year went pretty well considering all the new faces and freshmen. I am optimistic about this season! Let's go SIOUX!

Its also just the fact we had to give up one of the best logos ever. Its like a slap in the face. We went from the best to worst literally, so the contrast is just huge and hard to stomach as a die hard haha.
