Unfortunately the Canad has just gone downhill, albeit, slowly over the last 10-12 years. It’s still really nice and for now (until Olive Ann is completed) is the nicest hotel in town, and largest, and it’s full service. Connected to Alerus, etc. it’s nice and big. It has it pluses and benefits. But it needs some TLC, a capital injection and maybe re do one of the restaurants or just step it up a little. It’s still coasting off of itself just “being the canad” I still really enjoy the place, but it’s been sad watching it’s *VERY slowly just kind of age and nobody in management care enough to keep it pristine. It’s still nice for the record, but in another 10 years without some love it’s going to just continue.

You’re not wrong. It would expand the fan base, or at least viewers per game, no doubt. It would give the college level of the game a whole new level of prestige to be on TV that often, and viewer ship would probably be decent considering it’s winter and you’ve got weekend series, so it’s something to watch for a casual fan, or someone who’s just looking for something to watch.

Haven’t tried the wings. I’ll have to give them a whirl next weekend.

That’s why it’s great that’s if he can/wants to or whatever he could have another full two seasons skating for UND. That’s a lot of development. On top of you bring right, it sounded like he really impressed at the Bruins camp, some people were even cracking jokes that hopefully they don’t sign him. Haha. so I think that sentiment along with the possibility of 1-2 more years skating in the NCHC, I think good chance he gets signed!

As someone who gets to Grand Forks maybe 2 times a year. My choice is always the same. Red Pepper for lunch, the Ralph For dinner, and Grandma Butterwicks for Breakfast the next day. I MIGHT choose Smiling moose for some waffles.
