The Denver site is great for the Sioux. There will be a ton of Sioux fans there supporting the team. It won't be quite the home ice advantage of last year, but will be very loud for the Sioux! If I remember correctly, the Sioux fans outcheered the DU fans earlier this year. The real season starts on Saturday. GO SIOUX!

Heading down again, will be a great time as it is every year. We just hit up all the bars around the arena, Tom Reid's is always a fun hockey atmosphere. The pregame Sioux party at Great Waters was packed last year, we plan on hitting that up at some point also. Wear your Sioux gear proudly to all the games. It is fun to see the different jerseys and fans of the other schools all in the same place.

The place looks amazing to me. How could it NOT draw people from surrounding communties to Grand Forks to spend their hard earned dollars in our local businesses???

I agree with the "gopher reject" chant. I have used "seawolf rejects" in the past. I also agree with the Holy Cross jersey thing. I guess I can see it being okay if the Sioux aren't playing, but when the green is on the ice, you should be wearing only SIOUX gear. Just my opinion.

Grandpa Sid Here is a quote from the GF Herald today about North Dakota vs. Minnesota college hockey this season: The Sioux have a combined 10-0-4 record against Minnesota (2-0-0), Bemidji State (2-0-0), Mankato (3-0-1), St. Cloud State (2-0-2) and Minnesota-Duluth (1-0-1). Wasn't sure where to post this pic, but I find it hillarious! I wonder what Sid would say about this regular season feat? Of course it means nothing if the Sioux don't go far into the playoffs.
