DaveK: It is not possible to be a True Sioux fan and a True Gopher fan at the same time....at least not when it comes to hockey. It is physiologically impossible. It is like trying to stick the same sides of two magnets together. Whoever mentioned there should be a gopher hate forum, I agree. Maybe there should be a "Smack Talk" forum, or a "Other Colleges" thread.

Like I said in a previous post, Hensick's actions this past weekend are similar to his entire career. He seems to be known as a selfish player. It doesn't surprise me that he isn't in the top 3. He is very talented, but that isn't the ONLY thing that a Hobey winner must possess.

I have heard some bad stuff about Minneapolis/St Paul metro sports and fans in general on KFAN. I think it is the Common Man who primarily rips on everyone.

It is a rare occasion you don't see that penalty called on a near breakaway. Refs call it out of instinct...hopefully the refs will make it up on a questionable call in the 2nd.
