That is true...locally, that logo is the UND logo. I know it as the Sioux logo just as you do, but we are talking about how we are seen nationally and I think using that logo makes us look small-time.

I WISH we could lose the interlocking ND. Yes, UND had it first, but nationally, EVERYONE knows that logo as Notre Dame's logo. It doesn't matter who had it first. We need an original logo. Ours is perceived as being "ripped off", that is just as bad as if it actually were. We will gain more respect as a DI institution if we get rid of the interlocking ND.

Will the Al get it in the next few years? I hate the look of the current turf and the players need something with a little more cushion. Also, the SIOUX in the endzones looks pretty plain. Try a different "font" and add some more color I say.

Watching the national title game, I've seen a few hits that would have been penalties last night with the CCHA officials. Everybody's favorite D. Shepherd is the ref tonight. Michigan State and their physical style of play benefits from the WCHA officials.
