What do you expect? Hirsch, Irmen, and Potulny carried the team most of the season, with the help of Briggs for a while. Briggs really isn't that good, so he took his heat long ago when he fell apart. Hirsch had a psychotric break or discipline problem, so he was done. Irmen and Potulny are good, but they can't expect to do it all. CC is proof of that.

Be classy. All of the Gopher posters I have seen so far are being classy. We don't need any Sioux fans running to their board and being jerks.

If anyone has a DVR or TIVO, you can record or watch the college hockey part of SportsCenter between 31-34 minutes past the hour. It looked great in HD and I can't wait to see the whole game that way on Saturday.

Maybe Mafia Man recorded it. I think JPar might have listened to me with the "truth" sign.

Not many. But let's not get cocky, we still have a big game ahead of us. I think Denver is a cheap team that gets away with clutch n grab, so we need a ref that will call the game appropriately. Do not go onto Gopher message boards and celebrate. Keep it here and be classy.

I still think this game lacks the emotion of most Sioux-Gopher games.
