    Nice try cupcake.

As I stated, politicians have always exploited divisions to some degree, Clinton is doing it here.    But Trump has made an art of it.   It's his daily mode of operation.  Repeatedly talking **** like a 5th grader is the root of why our government is a reality TV show circus at the moment.  He's made the dumbing down of government acceptable.  It was never like this before Trump, on any regular basis.   One off-hand juvenile comment by Clinton doesn't change this fact.

Yeah a little disingenuous to blame it all on Trump.  He definitely has contributed to it with his inability to stay off Twitter.  However for you to not acknowledge that he has been under attack for the last 3.5 years is not being honest with the situation.  If he defends himself he is being combative and divisive....if he doesn't defend himself he must be guilty.  I'm not gonna feel sorry for a millionaire president, but he has faced a level of scrutiny by a biased MSM that has not been seen in years, if ever.

Trump feeds the flames by acting as such.   Notice when he defends himself he often makes outrageous statements as a means to deflect.  The media then become 'outraged' at Trump's new statement and forget the old one.  Lather, rinse, repeat.

Trump's no dummy when it comes to PR.  He's a salesman.  He relishes being in the spotlight.   He plays the media as much as they play him.  The media love a good story ($$$).   His 'poor me' routine is calculated.

Unfortunately for him, he has very little self-control and politically can't think outside of the box.  For some reason he panders only to his base.

The guy is a novelty, I'll give him that.  Doesn't mean he's good for the country though.

I can only imagine if the speaker of the house would have torn Obama’s state of the union speech.  The tone for that behavior was set when Democrats did not show up for his inauguration.

What?  The tone was set by the democrats who didn't show up for Trump's inauguration?   Please educate yourself.   This practice has been par-for-the-course throughout history.   Obama's was not attended by about 20 Republicans.  Big deal.

Like I said, Trump's reality TV show governance style set the tone for where we are now.  Everybody else henceforth follows suit, including idiot Pelosi.

The division isn’t all on Trump and isn’t going to just go away if he is gone.  Dems started the division before he was even in office.

Actually see it getting worse if they give all the money promised during campaigning by both Biden and Harris if they happen to win the nomination.

Divisions have always existed, and politicians have always played to these divisions.    But at no time in recent history has any President exploited our divisions like Trump.

His entire Presidency is predicated on an ‘us vs them’ mentality.  Look at a Trump rally.  The vitriol he spews on a regular basis is unmatched by any President. So are his dog-whistles.

At least under Obama, Bush, Clinton, etc. politicians had some common ground whereby to sit down and formulate a compromise.  Furthermore, all previous presidents at least verbally pretended to represent the entirety of the nation for the good of the country.   This is non-existent under Trump.  Don't agree with Trump?...sorry you're a 'loser'.  Trump is responsible for setting the tone, and unfortunately his divisiveness has filtered down to everything and everyone under him.  Politicians (from both sides of the isle) are now conducting themselves like 8th graders.  As such, the populace follows suit.

And no, it’s not going away if Trump is gone.  But we need to stop the bleeding.  It will take years to recover from what Trump has done.

I'm pretty much on the same page, voted for the T circle jerk 4 years ago. I've voted for B earlier this week.
Till they prove B was wrong on this mid October Giuliani fire cracker, I'm comfortable with my vote.
To me if this story had some horsepower, it would of been brought out way earlier - and then been proven. This is a political ultimate of worst tactics, somewhat sinilar to 4 years ago. This has to stop; these lies, false accusations, repeating false stories knowing that aren't true, and etc.
There's that gourp of the electorate on each end of the voting spectrum that never crosses the line , but there's getting to be a bigger group in the middle that will vote either way or for an I. Just look back in our life time how the party of the P is bouncing back and forth? It has somewhat been going on for a while, but now at a more intense level.

Ironically, a large part of Trump’s initial appeal was his outsider/non-politician shtick.  However 4 years later he’s steeped in the mechanisms of political sleaze as much as anybody else.  But on top of that, under his leadership, we’ve become a far more divided country than any other time in recent history.

We can overcome and correct bad policies; we always have.   Overcoming internal division is not as easy.   Immense internal fracture is what I fear most with 4 more years of Tяump.

  6. …...and the Democrats respond.   NYT reporting that Donald “China is the devil" Trump's tax records indicate he pursued lucrative business projects in China, operated an office there during 2016 campaign and currently maintains a Chinese bank account.

Valid or not,  Politics is politics

But this begs the question,.  Per influencing the election, what is more believable and what is more likely to stick?  Trump connections to China?  Or Hunter somehow forgetting to pick up a laptop with secret Ukrainian business info and child porn on it? :glare:     I guess we'll see.

How ironic, posting jabs at the other side for voicing their opinions on a message board that won’t make a difference in the real world, while you voice your opinion on a message board that won’t make a difference in the real world. Tell us more about how enlightened you are.

Opinions are welcome.  I just get a good laugh out of ignorance.

But I’m glad we agree that politics is politics, on both sides.     As such, tell me more about the “biggest scandal OF ALL TIMES!!!!”

Hey, they might be able to pull it off.  Most of the Proud Boys look like they wouldn't survive a 100 meter dash, much less a 400 meter run.

And by the then the to be late Rush Limbaugh will be much, much thinner.  Easier to carry.

    It will be like this

Stating the obvious? Must not have been so obvious to your side of the aisle when the allegations were leveled and your sides “henchmen” were throwing a tizzy.

They're idiots as well.  Different end of the same stick.  Politics as usual.

Too bad most people on this forum aren't smart enough to realize this, or if they do they have an agenda to push.   We're witnessing it now with this laughable Biden scandal.

But keep it up cult followers!  If you try hard enough, maybe, just maybe, you can change the course of the election on siouxsports!!!

Timing is everything in politics, Trump didn’t become a racist until mid 2016 and Cavanaugh wasn’t a gang rapist until he was nominated for the Supreme Court, interesting how that works.

Thanks for stating the obvious.   And why, like I said, it's not sticking.   Political miscalculation.  .

Trump Demands Attorney General Barr Investigate Hunter Biden

(Bloomberg) -- President Donald Trump demanded that Attorney General William Barr open an investigation of former Vice President Joe Biden’s son, just two weeks before Election Day.

Likely why it isn't sticking like they want it to.   I mean good lord, the FBI had the laptop for a year.  And here we are, 2 weeks before the election, and mini-Mussolini's henchmen start crying "OMG biggest scandal EVER!!".    Give me a break.

  12. Sen. Ron Johnson (from my home state) is now insinuating that child porn is on Hunter’s laptop.  As if the original story wasn't fishy enough.:silly:     Man alive, the Trumpsters are sparing no expense no matter how outrageous it gets.   Reeks of classic GRU activity.

So this begs the question.  How the hell would Ron Johnson know what's on this supposed 'laptop'?   Oh wait, here he is with Andriy Telizhenko, one of Giuliani's shady pro-Kremlin Ukrainian contacts.

What is sad is the debate commission has a variety of news outlets like ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, The Washington Post, The New York Times, PBS, NPR, USA Today and others  to choose a moderator from and going back to at least 1984, other than the late Tim Russert have been unable to find one who has an ounce of journalistic integrity and the ability to at least feign being unbiased.

Nobody had significant issues with the format before; this includes Reagan, HWB, Dole, GWB, McCain and Romney.

Hmmm..  funny that it's only become an issue now that "Call the Wambulance" Donny starts complaining.  And, of course, the Cult follows the leader.
