That inbred right winger? You mean the veteran who got shot while his son watched him die? Have some respect. Difference is the Denver killer had no justifiable reason to kill him.

Rittenhouse left this country a better place regardless!

Screw him.   If you get a round to the face because you chose to partake in these stupid shenanigans, you get no sympathy from me.   And that holds true for everybody, left and right.     Darwin award winners.

If you hate the Antifa dirtbags, I commend you. If you find commonality with the inbreeding rednecks on the other side, well, for the sanctity of the gene pool please wear protection.

I don't disagree at all.    Same holds true for that inbred right-winger who was just shot in the face in Denver.

He worked in Kenosha and it was his buddy’s gun so he didn’t bring it there to riot, he was there to help pleading business owners who’s livelihoods were at stake. He started that day off cleaning up graffiti so that makes him a horrible person too? The media just labels him with whatever fits their narrative and leaves out the positive facts on this kid. It is pretty cynical to label him a white supremacist when he had nothing to do with that movement. He is a true patriot that got caught up in an unfortunate situation.

people will burn in hell for what they are putting this kid through!

And Antifa supporters are upstanding citizens too because they hold food pantry drives.:silly:

Get real.  People (left and right) who partake in these clashes deserve no sympathy.  They exacerbate the problem.

Rittenhouse isn’t a patriot, he’s a dumbass kid who got in way over his head while illegally carrying.

Right, but It’s further proof that Trump has very little on Biden or Harris that is sticking.  All the cash the Trump campaign spends on opposition research and he’s reduced to playing 2016’s “Hillary’s emails” card this late in the game?  Gimme a break.

The country has already started voting.  Unlike 2016 the Dems are mobilized.  Early voting turnout is sky-high and Trump is keenly aware he greatly benefitted from the lowest turnout in 2 decades in 2016.

It’s late in the game and Trump likely knows he needs a few 3-pointers; and if they’re honest with themselves, Trump’s base knows the same.  They’re looking for anything to shift momentum.

Obama:  My administration is scandal free.

Damn, Hillary is screwed now.  This will surely sink her chances for election.

poor kid has a whole political party lying against him for political gain. What a shame I feel sorry for him and his family.

Gimme a break.  Rittenhouse is a mental midget who ruined his own life.    You need not be Carl Sagan to know nothing good comes from illegally carrying a firearm to an out-of-state riot.   Mr. Wannabe Warrior deserves no sympathy.   Same goes for everybody else taking part in the shenanigans in Kenosha.

Pelosi doesnt even mention the the 25th unless she's scared maskless about the real polling.

In all reality the moment she starts actually trying to pull a coup, thats when shes officially participating in a coup, and all options should be on the table and under to thwart the attempt of the subversion of the United States of America.

    This isn't brain surgery.

There's no way in hell this becomes a law; frankly the thought of it is laughable.  This should be common knowledge.      This is political theater by Pelosi to further highlight Trump's unhinged mind, and perhaps elicit more meltdowns from Trump considering he can't control himself anymore.        Basically Pelosi is trolling.

He's in a fight to keep his seat.  He probably will, but it is close enough to where distancing himself a bit from Trump might help him.

It is kind of a throw Trump under the bus move.  If he drops the nomination process for SCOTUS, that is entirety a throw Trump under the bus move.

    Same thing in Arizona.

That GOP governors are feeling the need to distance themselves from Trump is further evidence the President's re-election chances are dwindling.   I mean we're talking about staunch Red Kentucky here.

  9. Mitch McConnell now publicly distancing himself from Trump’s Covid circus.

"I haven't actually been to the White House since August the 6th because my impression was their approach to how to handle this is different from mine and what I insisted that we do in the Senate, which is to wear a mask and practice social distancing," - McConnell, 10-8-20,  Hebron, Kentucky,

Well ok, but I wasn't asking about you specifically.    Just inquiring into the overall sentiment of the pro-life community.  They appear to be conspicuously silent despite condemning,  opposing and attacking abortion on all previous fronts.

The logical thing would be overturning Roe so that states can freely make their own decisions there.

You realistically believe it will stop at ‘state rights’?  Overturning Roe is step 1.   The far-right, religious right, and booming Hispanic population will have considerable pull in advocating for and backing the inevitable GOP push for a federal ban on abortion if Roe is overturned.  .

The answer to your question is incredibly complicated and deeply philosophical. If you’re opposed to abortion and some technological advance exists due to abortion, should you not use that advance. It’s a tough question I don’t have the answer to.

Similar to being opposed to Nazis, but our entire space program is built on the back of nazi rocket technology born out of operation Paperclip. If you’re anti Nazi do you have to shun and not benefit from any of those technological advances that exist in our daily life? I’m not sure. These aren’t easy questions.

    This we can agree on.

The situation highlights the complexity of espousing an all/nothing opinion; because, frankly, it rarely exists in practice; hence the propensity to act hypocritically.  This especially holds true when dealing with individual rights.

As it pertains to abortion, I’m sure many pro-life advocates are willing to acquiesce to fetal cell research if it benefits humanity.  Nobody’s complaining about Trump’s treatment, although I suspect that might be politically driven.   But where do you draw the line?  Why not concede the same right to the individual if it benefits said individual’s quality of life?    Tricky questions.

Below is a quote from the link you posted.    It validates that Trump's treatment was tested using cells originally derived from an abortion, which is exactly what I originally posted.

However, an embryonic-derived cell line, albeit not a stem cell, does appear to have been involved at least in the early stages of Regeneron's testing process, according to supplementary material published in June. The HEK293T cells used are an immortalized cell line derived from embryonic kidney cells but are not stem cells themselves.

So I ask again, what's the pro-life opinion of this?  Because I'm certainly not seeing any condemnation anywhere.

  14. What is the pro-life community saying about this?   Take note, Trump is touting his treatment as “the miracle from God!”.

Trump’s antibody treatment was tested using cells originally derived from an abortion
The Trump administration has looked to curtail research with fetal cells. But when it was life or death for the president, no one objected.

F.B.I. Says a Michigan Militia Plotted to Kidnap Gov. Gretchen Whitmer

    https://nyti.ms/3jILDhg

The men had surveilled Ms. Whitmer’s vacation home in August and September, and they indicated that they wanted to take her hostage before the election in November, Richard J. Trask II, an F.B.I. special agent, said in the criminal complaint. In July, one of the men said the group should take Ms. Whitmer hostage and move her to a “secure location” in Wisconsin for a “trial,” Mr. Trask said.

    ...

President Trump openly encouraged such protests, tweeting, “LIBERATE MICHIGAN!”

The protests featured some signs with swastikas, Confederate flags and language that advocated violence against Ms. Whitmer, including one man who carried a doll with brown hair hanging from a noose. Many in the crowd carried semiautomatic weapons, leading some Democrats in the Legislature to call for a ban on guns in the Capitol.

Antifa is out of control.  They're now disguising themselves as Michigan militia members and committing acts of terrorism.    Trump was right. they need to be classified as a terrorist organization!

Pence is a better debater, and he won in the sense that he performed better. Kamala didn't tank, and that's all she had to do. Can't imagine this moved the needle for anyone. It was at least watchable.

Pence out-debated Harris.   But she took him to school in optics, body language and one-liners; which is just as important in today’s day and age.   Harris did what she had to do insofar that the debate won't move the needle.   At this stage in the game that’ll suit the Dems just fine.

She got obliterated and even my lib friends at school are texting me pissed off about it.

I doubt the VP debate means much, might mean a bit more this time around since Joe has referred to himself as a "transition" candidate and both of them are old and could croak at any time without anyone being surprised. But this was a bloodbath.

Notice, once again....Democrat candidate refuses to answer their plans for the Supreme Court.

Hardly an obliteration, but a definite Pence victory.  I'll give him that.

That said, the fly on Pence's head will be the takeaway once all the pundits finish taking about how 'their side won'.      That's hilariously bad optics; which is Trump's main concern.  Projecting an image.     The fly jokes are exploding on the internets.

They don’t have near the population we have, nor do they have nearly the diversity in thought we have. New Zealand and Australian are completely isolated from the rest of the world. Cannot even begin to compare them.

I believe it to be disingenuous on Shapiro’s part and your part to suggest that Trump could’ve responded in a way that wouldn’t have been spun negative.

    Nope.

Trump's softer tone on Fridays(?) video was politically magnificent.  If he continued with that narrative he would've opened up himself to more moderates without losing his base voters.   That scared the crap out of some of my more liberal friends.    Yet, in the following days, Trump couldn't get out of his own way.  The circus returned.  Trump frothing at the mouth as usual.

Shapiro isn't being disingenuous, he's 100% correct.      Trump had it on a tee-ball stand and struck out.  Missed political opportunity to use Covid to his advantage.
