Each week this has been done the Bridgeport region looks the easiest. A nice year for a west 2 or 3 seed to get sent to Bridgeport, although getting through another region and making it to the Frozen Four may be a more battle tested route.
That make sense, is that what the final 5 always referred to, thought it was the number of teams. At any rate, with the third place game gone, the name then still applies.
Good to learn something new every day, even though I'll forget by tomorrow.
Not sure how you determine the "kind of person" one is from an opinion on Cooke, but it would appear from this thread that it is you vs. everyone else here.
Unstable for starters. As low as 58, as high as 70. Might be a problem; hanging in the low to mid 60s now, may be enough it if doesn't fall to the 50s again
I'd guess all local news will go HD in the next year or so, but how that translates into WDAZ delivering HD from the ralph is anyone's guess. WDAZ would need an HD truck with HD equipment at theralph, plus some added bandwidth on satellite would need to be purchased.
I'm surprised that a local network in western ND has beaten the local affiliates in eastern ND to the punch for local newscasts.
Western ND KXNET (CBS) will switch to local news HD this week, Bismarck/Dickinson started this week, Minot/Williston will go HD in the local studio on Sunday. These are the first local newscasts to go HD in North Dakota. Would expect WDAZ/WDAY would have to at least get to HD local news before extending that to the FSSN.
Is that what you call checking in Gopher land. Cross check in open ice to the back followed by what should have been a cfb, followed by a weak Cepis elbow after the whistle? Got to love check hockey Gopher style.
Wasn't called a goal on the ice, and wasn't conclusive in review that the puck crossed the line before the whistle.
Wow, what an explanation, the crowd actually covered up the sound of the whistle when they roared when the puck crossed the line.
