If we can run the ball we have an offense, when we can't the offense is pathetic.
-
Shuster sucks. There I said it.
-
UND 34-21. 2 FG and a defensive score.
-
Overall….No. on big ten campuses, hockey is an afterthought.
-
I have my opinions on the QB situation and I make it clear it is my opinion. Hopefully Otis can be a difference maker for us and we can win out.
-
He has not played in two games this season. If you believe it was because he was sick, I have a bridge I would like to sell you. He had a great game vs WIU, thankful to see it. Hopefully he stays focused on priorities.

Don't mean to be "Debbie Downer", I just see a team which is very close to the next level, but likely won't get there. QB is the most important position on the field. Having QV hand it off on the sweep motion was a great wrinkle from Danny and really opened up the game on Saturday. Ziebarth averaged over 7 yards a carry.
-
Absolutely. He ran for 110 yards and didn't throw any picks. Tommy INT was one of the worst throws I have seen from any QB this season. W/O the "trick play", Tommy was 17-29 for 146 yards(5 yards per attempt).
-
W ILL, was the first MVFC game this season where Tommy was the best QB and in that game QV took 15-20 snaps.
-
Not sure what that means. I have never said QV is the answer, but its obviously not Tommy either. We need a QB who can run and pass to lead us to the promise land. It is what it will take to get UND over the top. Throwing 30 5 yard passes and sprinkling in a few tricks will rarely beat the good teams. It was the threat of QV running up the middle which opened up the outside running game.
-
All based on the first 4 games last spring. This team is close to being a championship caliber team, It needs a QB who can make a difference and make the plays to win a close game. So far, its not Tommy. He had huge stats on Saturday, but w/o Otis long screen play, its the same 5 yards per attempt. IMO that will NOT get it done against a good defense.

The Hawks are a really good football team with some weaknesses. One of them has been some inexplicable game management. The mess at the end of the half is one of those things. Similar brain cramps in many games this season.
-
In spite of so much….
-
It’s a joke. Has been since the last few games of the spring.

Football 101.

He was still mad about maybe the worst coaching call at UND in decades…going for it on 4th at his own 20 against NDSU. Changed the complexion of this season and the program.
-
It’s sad. UND has good enough players to be rolling right now. Some definite holes in staff . The end of half was telling. Tommy is not it.
-
More great coaching at the end of half, middle school clock management..
-
That was ugly.

Bubba may have built his season on an unsound foundation. So far this fall Otis has been nothing but a distraction. Time for him to put up or shut up.

Did Tom Miller tell us he was not at some practices last week and was not expected to play? -

I don't think what Otis has been suffering from is communicable. -

100% agree. -
Anyone want to buy a bridge? He was so sick all week he made it to a high school game on Friday night.

No need, UND is scoring points at will. The 5.5 yards per pass attempt is keeping opposing DC up at night. If you can find a way to stop us scoring points through the air, Tommy will torch us with his legs.
