Do you, or does anyone else have their schedule for this season yet?

I imagine some of you go check out bisonville from time to time? Man oh MAN do they harp about Bubba, Grand Forks, the Big Sky and anything UND... CONSTANTLY. Has it always been that bad, or are they just more hateful and worried with UND's football program upsurging as of recent? I get the long standing rivalry and everything, but they sure seem like an overly abhorrent and arrogant group for following a team with so much success recently. You'd think it would be the opposite? SS doesn't talk about NDSU nearly as often, and when it's brought up, it's usually reasonable and within the conversation... aka civil. It carries over onto anygivensaturday as well. It's nuts! They make gopher fans look like respectable rivals IMO. Either way, from my point of view it sure seems like they're nervous about UND surpassing them in football to be talking about them so often. Masked by crude insults and remarks. They don't even play UND this season, yet they talk about UND's schedule more often than their own.

Is Utah seeing any type of injury bug right now? UND sure has it full fledged at the moment, as well as the suspension and no show bug. I'm almost glad there are two weeks left, maybe UND will get some guys back and will have it out of their system by then. Ufda

Did UND ever lose to UMC or MSUM?

Yeah no kidding...it is just one thing after another. Seems like the IR list is as long as the healthy list.

How can you donate to the football program, all athletics, or just UND in general if you're not an alum?

As upset as I got at NCHC.TV last year over and over, I'm realizing it's my only route to seeing a lot of the games. Glad to hear they are making improvements for this season!

HAHAHA. Can you imagine players pacing around the locker room nervous as hell saying... "Have you seen the ticket prices to this game, MAN we're screwed!!"

Get a grip. Most everyone looks forward to that series more than any other by far. They're in control of pricing and all the more power to them for taking advantage of supply and demand. It goes both ways...look at the Manitoba and under 18 games. If you're going to get that worked up over $50, you probably shouldn't be spending your rent money on hockey tickets anyway.

Legacy and Watford City added to the West then Shyenne and M-P-F-S-H-P-N-H-H-CV(haha) added to the east, I like it! Maybe Whap/Breck would come back too. Langdon might have to play Morden and Winkler a lot if that happens.

Any idea if I heard correctly on their schedule for this year? Any idea of who they're playing?

They're losing a TON of firepower and experience so they'll be a completely different team this season...but it's Grand Forks, so of course they'll reload and will do just fine. I doubt they repeat, but it's an easy assumption that they'll be top 4. I think RR will bounce back and punch them in the mouth this season. They're the easy #1 favorite this coming year IMO. Man oh man the Fargo teams will be down even more than last season by the looks of it. I doubt South, North or West Fargo will even reach 10 wins this season. Davies will probably fight for the #2 spot with Central in the East. Devils Lake should slide into the #4 spot because it shouldn't take much to fight off Grafton and the other Fargo schools for that spot. High and Minot look to be pretty tough out west as always. Not too sure on any of the other teams out there though. Jamestown returns and lot and Century looks like they should have some potential. Will HB even have a team this season? They got outscored 8-191 last season playing JV teams and are losing 3 of their 11 skaters. Yikes Is that new Bismarck Legacy school adding a team soon? Has anyone else heard the rumor of Mayville, Portland, Central Valley, and a few other small schools cooping to create a new varsity team? I've heard they would play independent this first season and mostly play JV teams, small MN schools and probably some of the less talented Varsity teams in ND. Not very often a new team gets added in ND, so this would be pretty exciting if it was true especially if Legacy adds as well. If the new coop happens, I wonder how long until JR GOLD folds since there are only 4-5 teams remaining.

Chappell was from Central right? Did his grades fail or why did he fall off the wagon?

Why didn't Clive Georges come back? No medical RS?

It seems like the politics with these teams gets heavier every season.

With the depth at RB, I'd really like to see some creativity in getting Santiago out of the backfield more and getting more catches. Having a weapon like him in the slot will really spread things out and keep the opposing D honest. I also like the way Gordon runs, so I'd really like to see him getting the ball more this season, and hopefully it's not only because of injuries!

I would assume walk ons, but it's nice to see some more new names!

Is that a random guess or is it known that he's actually going there now? They're D2 in the NSIC now so that's not bad football

During this boring non-football and non-hockey time of the year I was thinking about the upcoming hockey season and what ND boys will be playing D1 hockey. Does anyone have any names to add to my list from last season? Bryce Schmidt- Minot at Lake Superior State- I believe he was a SR so he is done Jade Miller- Grafton at UMD- Might find himself more playing time this season with their big turnover Aaron Nelson- Century at Mankato State- I believe he was the 3rd string goalie last year Alec Rauhauser- Century at Bowling Green- I remember watching him in HS but haven't heard much about him in college yet. Mason Morelli- Minot at Neb Omaha- He looked like a big strong skater with some potential when I watched him last season playing at the Ralph. Jordan Nelson- Williston at Mankato State- Is he the first Williston grad to play D1 hockey? Casey Johnson- Central at UND- Very well known that he improved vastly last season and will be a big part of the D-core this season. Johnny Simo- Central at UND- Very well known that he is a role player without a big role. I think he will have a very similar season to last. Casey Purpur- Central at Northern Michigan- I would catch his name on their score sheet every now and then. I believe his dad played there as well? Jon Lizotte- RR at St. Cloud- He seemed like one of their better D-men last season. I expect even bigger things this up coming season. Jacob Benson- RR at St. Cloud- He'll be right in the mix of things on offense again this season and I think he'll top his 19pts from last. I wouldn't mind having him at UND! Was there anyone from Fargo that I'm missing? Maybe another from RR or one from Bis High I'm missing?
