O-Line, RBs, Young secondary players. Limited scope enter first 48 hrs. From there more be team fit than player decision. • Big changes in staff • DIFFERENCE in portal offers. Limited offers so far, very inline with past years. Should he no surprise, same staff. • Recruit, recruit, recruit. New level of athlete. Have there be a new feeling. New confidence around the program.

I’m kind of in shock. I shouldn’t be, since Chaves apparently is doing the most Chaves thing possible. Like others have said, Freuchte might be the right call. I hope to see instantly a stark difference from everything Bubba. Blow up the defensive staff. Keep the critical players from entering portal. That will start building excitement. Win the portal!

Because we’re talking Chaves & this is UND would be two solid reasons, otherwise why wouldn’t it? It needs to happen and fortunately, the few reports we’ve gotten Chaves is aware of this as well.

The one thing we all agree on is the timeline. The press conference can happen Monday, but the announcement has to happen at the latest tomorrow. The key being the new coach is present to meet the team sometime tomorrow, prior to portal opening Monday.

As someone who was warming up to Freuchte, this post really hit home. I agree, you cannot do Freuchte.

Shoot, was starting to really get excited over Caruso. I'm ready to roll with Freuchte. Honestly, my biggest concern is although he's only been here a year, if he's not for a full blow up defensively. Staff included, because of the relationships he's built. If he is, make it official!

Good stuff. Clearly, it wasn’t about their head coach leaving. It was about players earning end of the year accolades.

This usually turns into a fairly unproductive conversation. I'm in complete agreement with you, as someone who likes to follow recruiting as well. Feels like the SU's are recruiting at a completely different level. I'm very optimistic that with a new coach and the facilities that are being completed in the next month, that next year's class really takes off.
