  1. JMU has a very good offense, but left a lot of crucial points on the board. Only a 10 point game and NDSU showed on the last drive they can also move down the field with little resistance. Offense vs offense in the 2nd half. Which ever defense steps up wins.

NDSU could still easily get back in this and swing the momentum. Lots of game left

Yep, this drive, plus they get the ball in the second half. Next thing we know it's 17-14 early in the 3rd.

Had some time and looked up his stats

    Andrew Zimmerman - #9 - QB - Fresno

    10 games played, 1351 total yards, 17 TD, 135.1 yds/gm

    51.8 % completion rating, 4 Int, sacked 8 times

His stats are a little deceiving, since his team split time at QB. His first two games he had a total of 6 passing attempts, for 5 yards.

I have an idea, but I'm not sure if I'm correct :)

I think this is the biggest single need on next years roster. Someone that can back up Studsrud and potentially start the next year.

From an SFI tweet, they are guessing the new commit is Tyler Shannon, a Safety from Colorado

Good size at 6'2", 185 lbs. Played both RB / WR as well as on Defense. Stats don't blow you away, more receiving yards than rushing. 26 Tackles and 2 INTs on defense also returned Punts and Kickoffs. I haven't seen him play, but love his size and that he played 3 different positions. Get an athlete with good size and probably pretty good wheels and coach him up!

  6. I asked this question earlier, but does anyone know the size of class we are looking at? There were only 14 Seniors on the roster (including Arnell / Georges), so you'd think this class would be on the smaller side. Right now there are 12 players committed, not including the 2 PWO's. How many more scholarships do they have to give?

  7. Here's how I look at the season so far, they are currently 9-6-3 and ranked 10 in the PWR (obviously pretty volatile right now). There has been more positives than negatives when looking overall, they've had a few bad games (Minnesota Fri, Mich State, Western Michigan), but also a lot of games where they played pretty well (Denver, UMD Sat, Minny Sat), but came up short.

They've done pretty well, without (1) Healthy Boeser (2) Gardner / Poganski significantly underperforming (3) Injuries on defense

Get Boeser back, Gardner / Poganski get back to their late season form and the freshman dman will have now a half year under their belts. There's no reason they can't win it all again.
