Question 1: Is this year's group of defensemen--Kierstad, JBD, Sanderson, Kleven, Frisch, Bast/Rieger--the best that UND has ever had? Question 2: Who in UND's history is Jake Sanderson most like? Comps?

No JBD is a huge hole for us. We need that guy back.

So fun to watch that guy. Offensively he's on another planet even compared to the d-men on the 2015-16 team.

No, with one exception: Denver. Reportedly one of the NCAA's stated goals is to reduce air travel as much as possible for the regional tournaments. As host of the Loveland regional, putting Denver in the tourney would accomplish that goal while being defensible* on purely meritorious grounds. *HOW defensible is a matter of opinion, of course.

Judd seems much improved this year--faster, more assertive. I'm really excited to see where his game goes next year. For some reason I thought that this was his junior year, but he's only a sophomore.

It's so much more fun to win. Let's keep doing that.

Will Denver have the same roster tonight that it did against UNO?

I was thinking of Brisson, Berniers, and Kent Johnson. Fun players to watch.

Michigan's high-enders are ridiculously talented.

MSU's best hope was to win 1-0 in regulation. They had no forecheck whatsoever.

Gopher's Brock Faber injured at end of second period against Michigan State. Slid into end boards pretty hard.

Gophers going with the mustard breezers today. Not aesthetically pleasing.
