  1. Good point.
  2. Question 1: Is this year's group of defensemen--Kierstad, JBD, Sanderson, Kleven, Frisch, Bast/Rieger--the best that UND has ever had? Question 2: Who in UND's history is Jake Sanderson most like? Comps?
  3. No JBD is a huge hole for us. We need that guy back.
  4. So fun to watch that guy. Offensively he's on another planet even compared to the d-men on the 2015-16 team.
  5. No, with one exception: Denver. Reportedly one of the NCAA's stated goals is to reduce air travel as much as possible for the regional tournaments. As host of the Loveland regional, putting Denver in the tourney would accomplish that goal while being defensible* on purely meritorious grounds. *HOW defensible is a matter of opinion, of course.
  6. Judd seems much improved this year--faster, more assertive. I'm really excited to see where his game goes next year. For some reason I thought that this was his junior year, but he's only a sophomore.
  7. It's so much more fun to win. Let's keep doing that.
  8. Heckuva game by a short-handed DU team. Super gutsy.
  9. Boom goes the dynamite!
  10. Cole Caufield (who else?) with the game winner. That dude can shoot.
  11. SCSU beats UMD 3-2.
  12. Dave B. answers my question: Head coach David Carle made it clear yesterday that none of the players in protocol would be flown in and available for tonight’s semifinal matchup with North Dakota.
  13. Will Denver have the same roster tonight that it did against UNO?
  14. I was thinking of Brisson, Berniers, and Kent Johnson. Fun players to watch.
  15. Michigan's high-enders are ridiculously talented.
  16. MSU's best hope was to win 1-0 in regulation. They had no forecheck whatsoever.
  17. Gopher's Brock Faber injured at end of second period against Michigan State. Slid into end boards pretty hard.
  18. Gophers going with the mustard breezers today. Not aesthetically pleasing.
  19. Going for a 2-point conversion after their third touchdown...that's ballsy.
  20. Sort of...apparently they're still limiting the number of articles you can read.
  21. In case anyone is interested, therinklive.com currently has its paywall down.
  22. Per Schlossman: UND will still be without one key player tonight. Forward Grant Mismash (upper body) has been ruled out for the quarterfinal game against Miami. Because there are two days between the quarterfinals and semifinals, Berry said if UND happens to get past Miami, it will re-evaluate Mismash on Monday. Mismash has not played since Feb. 12 against Denver, when he sustained an upper-body injury. He has missed the last five games. Mismash, a senior, was having a terrific season, tallying nine goals and 18 points in 18 games.
  23. When I read this, my heart just about stopped.
  24. No, going +1 skater hasn't gone well this year. Maybe UND could go with four skaters and two goaltenders at all times. #dumboverreactionmoment
