  1. Good pressure by the Sioux.
  2. ...and yes, this is the longest last minute ever. At this rate, we'll be lucky to see Shireen's first intermission interview.
  3. It seems like every time that UND has played on CBS, Akron and Ohio are playing MBB against each other.
  4. Here are a few interesting (to me) statistics as we near the end of the 2021-2022 regular season: Currently the Pairwise and KRACH are identical through the top eight spots. That's pretty unusual. Through 34 games, and with two games left, Quinnipiac is allowing less than 1 goal per game (0.96 GAA). No team has scored 4 or more goals against QU in a game this season. Only three teams--UND, Arizona St., and Clarkson--have even scored 3 goals in a game against QU this season. Quinnipiac's goal differential is +80. That has to be the best in college hockey, right? Nope, Mankato sits at +99. Mankato has a chance to finish the regular season with greater than +100 goal differential. Seriously, how often does that happen? (FYI, UND sits at +17.) UND is #6 in the Pairwise despite having only one skater ranked in the top 50 in points (Gaber is tied for 14th with 35 points). Denver, on the other hand, has six of the top 50. Best one for last: SCSU currently averages more shorthanded goals per game (.33) than St. Lawrence and Yale average in power play goals per game (.23 and .27, respectively).
  5. CHN also lists both games as being on CBS Sports Network. But the NCHC just tweeted that tonight's CBSSN game is indeed UND-WMU, just as siouxforce19 said. Game time is 7pm.
  6. Not sure about this calendar year, but there's only one skater left who hasn't scored a goal this season: Brady Ferner. Maybe Ferner gets his first with UND in a 1-0 shutout victory.
  7. There should be a clock for referee reviews: 10 minutes total per game. After that, refs only get to review scoring plays (did the puck cross the goal? was the offensive team onside? was the puck tipped in with a high stick?), and they only get 90 seconds to review the play. If they can't determine that the play should be overturned after 90 seconds, the call on the ice stands.
  8. I imagine that each bench connects directly to a corresponding locker room. If so, when building a new rink, do the architects ask the current coach if he wants left change or right change? Or do they just build the rink and then the home team discovers their change orientation?
  9. Seriously how is this team in first place this late in the season? I love it!
  10. Yes!
  11. How about an empty netter?
  12. Missed a slash on UMD
  13. Senden is on the bench, but I don't believe he's been on the ice yet.
  14. So many offsides for Duluth...
  15. Just keep attacking, boys.
  16. BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE!
  17. Seems like everyone is contributing. No passengers.
  18. That's right, my bad.
  19. Fourth player with first career goal this weekend! What the heck? Who's next?
  20. Ah, thank you.
  21. Is Albrecht our third skater to score his first career goal this weekend? Bast and....? Maybe just two.
  22. What. A. Play!
  23. Hey man, get your hands off our Budy.
  24. Ness has some game. His best days are ahead.
