  1. Hope you are right, sure don't want them a Natty ahead of us.
  2. York (Double Eagle) went home to coach to get the 1G wins. Did we let Berry go???
  3. ^^^ This right here is a big part to the engine to parity in college hockey.
  4. RIP. Also started at UND same year. Messaged him a few weeks ago, great person. Tim will be missed by many.
  5. I hear where your coming from, but to be fair, our tradition wasn't made up of all angels - fans included. Now the game is changing some and it seems like now we're trying to play clean under achieving hockey but getting stupid penalties, what do we gain with that culture??? Why not get our monies worth if we keep going to the box, at least do some bullying in front of the net - might learn something with owning some of that real estate. Might learn to pass to net front instead of shooting from the boards. Sure, there were periods and games where we carried the puck, momentum, physicality, quality shots and goals, but also plenty not. I don't know how far back you go. Diving is a relatively new tactic and there is an embellishing penalty for it, but refs don't know how to blow that whistle, so you have that. Gasp, Blaz, and Hak never played the cleanest hockey or the east coast style; they had their players ready to skate, pass, shoot, push, and rough it up right up to the whistle. Sandelin (UND '86) knows that game. I'm putting him as the favorite in Buffalo.
  6. I so hope you are right. Denver will now be playing tougher competition.
  7. I'll take a poke: $500k + $250k in incentives ($50k for NCAAs, $100k for F4, $100k for Natty). Have to find something under $2M for Berry.
  8. Need Duluth in the F4; if by chance Denver (with 8) wins the first game in Buffalo, they could possible end up playing Duluth? Hopefully Mass. stops Denver?
  9. Shush, we're saving that for the Pharmacy Bowl!
  10. Not sure on ownership, recollect something like the children now own it? Menus are fairly new, with many of the same meals. The food served is hot and very good, even with the crowds. We had a 1/2 hour wait last night at 7.
  11. So how many puppies is the CLOWN going to pull out of the HAT?
  12. That's actually is a very good point. And, the first few teams that play us will have some doubt on as to our game plan. Maybe we can give our friends to the south a run.
  13. One could look at our running game at the beginning of this coming season as a drop off from last season, but they may surprise a lot of fans soon thereafter. The offense will have a new look and the running game could have success being surrounded by players we have. Stay healthy.
  14. Meat / Potatoes / Vegetable - old school in a good way. 9 of us went there last night, 7 steaks, 1 salmon, 1 rib/brisket/pullpork combo. Excellent. You don't pay for the atmosphere, so they put your "bang for the buck" into the meal!
  15. St Cloud, Duluth, & Denver bring in the players that work for their programs (Hak did also), minus the Clowns have a cultural problem (ask Berry for definition) with the NCAAs. Recruiting kids so young has to have a little crap shoot in this process. Someone mentioned suspicious fans a few posts back, Hockey Players are more suspicious than the fans - some games the players play as a team all game long and then not so much.
