Tomorrow they move to not so large gatherings to stop, with sports seen as an unnecessary function in these trying times, even if without fans. No fans allowed at UND hockey games this weekend with CC GF Herald UND might not play a hockey game in front of fans for the rest of the season. Due to the coronavirus outbreak, no fans will be allowed at UND's first-round National Collegiate Hockey Conference playoff series against Colorado College this weekend. The NCHC has not yet barred fans from attending the NCHC Frozen Faceoff next weekend in St. Paul's Xcel Energy Center, but that decision could come later on. Aren't there some rules on how many games may be played in a season? I've taught, a team's record is based only on games against other Division I hockey schools which are eligible for the NCAA Tournament. Why is there such a difference in # of games played, with 2 weekends before the NCAA's? Top 6 PairWise teams games played: ND 35 Mankato 38 Cornel 29 Duluth 34 Denver 36 BC 34 I seemed to remember there was a limit and UND tried to play up to the limit? The Hall of Fame game was like a bonus game and was exempt from the limit?

There's a few fans in GF that suddenly took off from work today, nice day for a drive with high of 42 in Sioux Falls, for their first Summit Tourney. Bonus, no SD schools, easy to find a good seat.
