That clip never gets old Sic. One of my favorites. Kevin had some great power skating coaches growing up playing AAA hockey. He stresses the same concepts to any team he coaches be it Mites or Bantams. His squirt team that was the only Fargo team to ever win the Squirt Spectacular was a machine when it came to skating and passing. One of the concepts of Dean Blais teams was, "Speed kills". Kevin gets his players to believe in that and they are much better skaters and players when to move on to the next level, -
Team ND Tier 1 got smoked at all levels in the National Tournament. You can't have a temporary team that only plays together for a couple of months compete against teams that play Tier 1 AAA all season long. Even the few MN teams that played Tier 1 didn't do well in the Nationals. MN is too ingrained in their high school leagues and ND is following that system. If you want to be the best, you have to play the best. Canada is darn close with their AAA teams. Team ND along with Team MN should be in a AAA league along with teams in Canada. Let the players that have the talent hone it playing better competition. You can't play a weaker high school schedule and then expect to compete at the Tier 1 level. That's the reason players are leaving to play with AAA teams. If you want to be the best, you have to play the best.

I bought this for an earlier Davies game thinking it would be top notch video and broadcasting. I couldn't believe how bad it was for a TV station. Switched back to the high schools streaming half way through the game as it was that bad. The high school streaming broadcast was 10 times better than WDAY and the Knox Radio coverage yesterday was even worse. I watch parents broadcast and video of Bantam and Squirt games that are much better than the "TV" broadcasts. I may have to drive up to GF for the game next week. Hope the storms aren't too bad.

The worst camera work I have ever seen at the East games. I've seen more of the crowd than the game. Must be somebodies 12 year old kid doing the camera. I can't believe this is put on by a TV/ radio station.

"Perform to stay in." What a concept. Maybe then a comparison can be made to a player that sat only one game in a 4 year career at UND.

Thanks sfb. I hate to win on a technicality but rules are rules. Thanks for doing this. To those being confused, read the rules. They are posted before every new game and aren't that difficult to understand.
