    Fargo Force Fall Showcase this weekend. Quite a lot of AAA teams from around the country attending. Team ND 14U through 18U playing in it. Should be some good games to see how Team ND competes against them.

    3 Team ND's will be going to the Chicago Steel Icebreaker tournament in September. Probably have a few more players getting noticed and possibly moving on this year or next.

    Best frozen pizza I have had. A few months ago they had their artisan crust pizza which is even better. Was as close to a really good Chicago thin crust pizza from a frozen product. Was only available for a few months. Must not have gone over well in Fargo as I can't find it anywhere . Was really bummed about that.

    Fargo Force had a money maker earlier with guys from all around the country for their camp.

    Quite a few legacy players coming up in the next few years that have played together on Team ND. Not saying they should all be recruited, but they should at least be on the radar. Most have a good shot at playing at higher levels than ND High School hockey and hopefully take advantage of that opportunity.

    That clip never gets old Sic. One of my favorites. Kevin had some great power skating coaches growing up playing AAA hockey. He stresses the same concepts to any team he coaches be it Mites or Bantams. His squirt team that was the only Fargo team to ever win the Squirt Spectacular was a machine when it came to skating and passing. One of the concepts of Dean Blais teams was, "Speed kills". Kevin gets his players to believe in that and they are much better skaters and players when to move on to the next level,

    Team ND Tier 1 got smoked at all levels in the National Tournament. You can't have a temporary team that only plays together for a couple of months compete against teams that play Tier 1 AAA all season long. Even the few MN teams that played Tier 1 didn't do well in the Nationals. MN is too ingrained in their high school leagues and ND is following that system. If you want to be the best, you have to play the best. Canada is darn close with their AAA teams. Team ND along with Team MN should be in a AAA league along with teams in Canada. Let the players that have the talent hone it playing better competition. You can't play a weaker high school schedule and then expect to compete at the Tier 1 level. That's the reason players are leaving to play with AAA teams. If you want to be the best, you have to play the best.
