The airport will lose $700,000 annually or 16% of their budget.

I assumed the loss of landing fees would be big, but not that much! Wonder how they will make up the difference?

Home start times have been released. The closest to a night game is against USD at 4 pm, which seems like a TV broadcast time to me.

    Sept. 17 South Dakota 4 p.m.

    Oct. 1 Cal Poly 1 p.m.

    Oct. 15 Southern Utah 1 p.m.

    Oct. 29 Weber State 1 p.m.

    Nov. 12 Northern Arizona 1 p.m.

It's amazing to see a roster so young and feel like it's completely stacked. I know we lost a few excellent players, all time greats, but we brought in some really talented guys. It's weird but I think we may have a better team this year of the d is figured out. The firepower is insane.

Also, glad Goopher fans can no longer say UND is just a Canadian Team, with only 4 from our friendly neighbors.

Good chunk of "fans" have already jumped to such conclusions. Really unfortunate because they are doing nothing but hold UND athletics back. It's time to be forward and look for some novel accomplishments. The UND Fighting Sioux never won the DI FCS championsip or played in the NCAA DI men's basketball championship; these are all things the Fighting Hawk can do. It's time to be forward thinking. Nevertheless, these "fans" believe they are somehow standing up for all that is "right and just".

Supporters support, not criticize at every opportunity. Constrictive criticism is fine, but this premature b*tching is completely different.

Thank you! Let's just move on...how does beating a dead horse improve UND Fighting Hawks Athletics? I am looking forward to the new logo finally putting it all to rest.

I just think now with ASU hockey PHX survives, but moves to a more sensible arena - closer to the snowbirds in Mesa in the SE PHX metro.

This would be a wise move as I am certainly there are plenty of northerners that would love to see their hometown team play against the Coyotes in the winter.
