It all comes down to population.  Fargo metro area has almost 260,000 and has gained 5% since the last census.  GF metro has 103,000 and has lost 1% since 2020.   The growth rate is what needs to be addressed.

What I can't figure out is why are air carriers subsidized to serve places like Jamestown and Devils Lake?  It's costing the taxpayers a lot of money so these towns can have Puddle Jumper air service and I bet it's hardly even used.

The EAS program is one of those untouchable programs in politics. Neither side wants to address it or be on the hook for ending the program. Both North Dakota Senators were strong advocates for both DVL and JMS when they nearly lost service a couple years ago.

What destinations are there from GFK? MSP, Vegas, Mesa and Orlando? Can you fly direct to all of those from Winnipeg? Guessing you can fly direct to all of them from Fargo? I think they need to be creative and find a way to add a flight that neither Winnipeg or Fargo has access to. NYC? Seattle? New Orleans? SLC? Just thinking out loud

It will have to be a hub, so SLC would be the most logical out of those options. NYC is too long and thin route for GFK, plus there are slot issues.

I think there was a flight to SLC from Fargo maybe a decade or so ago but was cut during the great recession.

Any route will be tough as more pilots retires, planes resize, and airlines consolidate.

For whatever reason they left the lights on that point towards the stands for a while, and then they turned off and on like 3 times.

The entrance was definitely lacking. What happened to the blow up UND helmet? After the hype video plays, they need to cue to the doors opening and Bubba leading the boys out, with some sort of song, which has been Metallica in the past.

Im also in agreement with the music, it’s like they can never figure out the proper volume to play it at.

I have not be to the Alerus in a couple of year and remember how terrible the PA sounded. It is just not a good facility for sound due to the metal barn style walls. You would think Spectrum could bring in a sound engineer to come up with a solution.

You could get bombed for a buck. Really bombed for two bucks. :)  I remember $1.50 pitchers at Down Under. I stumbled home a few times. I lived at the 42nd street Apartments and it was very convenient. Cheap, questionable beer. The good ole days.

I had a girlfriend that worked at the DUNDer, never bought a pitcher on Friday nights.

It's not. I have said this for a few years, or at least going back to when we dropped women's hockey and I did a little research. The A.D.'s office probably breaks into a cold sweat whenever they see 4-5 females coming into the office to discuss opportunity...whether it be Hockey, Rugby, Wrestling or something else.

Looking at some of the bigger schools in the country it seems that women's rowing seems to be the way to even out the participation prong. Looking at the sheer numbers on B10 rowing rosters and I would wager there are 20-30 girls walking around campus who are unaware they are even on the team.

Pick one of these sports and call it a great day for UND women's sports
