  1. Rooting for Denver, Western and CC. Want to see Omaha squirm about their NCAA hopes, the opportunity to end CC's season after not getting the chance to last year, and Duluth is Duluth.
  2. If Kobe Roth wants to grad transfer for a 5th year he could entertain the thought of playing closer to home.
  3. So little chatter here for our designated rival!
  4. Merrimack calling it a season. Non-competitors are less concerned with keeping tests negative, no doubt. Miami can't be thrilled about going to Grand Forks to get destroyed....
  5. SLU Clarkson cancelled because of Covid protocol. Didn't say which school got burned though.
  6. D3 hockey school Becker, a 3rd rate liberal arts daycare in Wooster Mass, closes. Gotta imagine it's not the only casualty in the next few years where it's the school itself and not just sports at the school among which hockey is included.
  7. Brads article about the power play unit is good as always, but I gotta add that last year seeing Cole Smith on the PP made seeing Senden out there this year much easier to accept/understand.
  8. One last reminder by CC to everyone involved with the league that this is not the time to take any risks. No extended family, no conjugal visits, nothing.
  9. TV rights are part of Notre Dame's agreement with the Big Ten, and the main reason why they didn't join the NCHC. It seems odd, but they make their own rules.
  10. Whenever Notre Dame plays at home and NBCSN doesn't pick it up, they show the game free on the NBCSN App. That may apply to Big Ten tournament games, at least that ND is playing in, even though Big Ten Network is picking the tournament up. When NHL Network and some others have broadcast games there it's been the case, so that'll be something to keep an eye out for.
  11. Rewatching the penalty it is pretty blatant, although I still think Hain sold it a bit. They could have let it slide in a tie game with less than 2 minutes left, but consistency from the refs is a good thing, and after things got out of hand last week this game was more scrutinized than usual. Senden celebrating in their crease and Weatherby celebrating in front of their bench were fun to see, as much as their cameraman allowed us to see anyways. Stop showing the guy getting out of the penalty box! Or at least picture in picture.
  12. Weatherby is a flight risk after this season. Absolutely caught fire.
  13. Watching Quinny and St L on ESPN+ and it feels like a serious step down from UND/NCHC. All the Ivies are going to be rebuilding next year too. EZAC is back.
  14. Didn't Dilks run inch.com back when it partnered with ESPN?
  15. Someone set up a go fund me for the victim's mom to see a therapist. She got what she wanted and still can't let it go, potentially harming her son further in the process. Miller didn't apologize well though, talks about himself too much. Maybe a generational thing...? Also, considering the ephemeral nature of Snapchat makes it ground zero for cyberbullying, he comes across as an idiot for saying he added him on it.
  16. Are army-air force hockey tickets tough to get? Their capacity isn't big.
  17. Attending a game against Army at the academy is on my bucket list. A good friend lives in Springs so it'll happen eventually.
  18. Oshie scored on Dell, and they showed Zajac skating off frustrated. That was a moment! Their discussion about his 1000th game praised UND too.
  19. I agree, it was just odd that someone was lionizing JT after he had a bad series. Despite the interview he did saying its no different from any other opponent/arena, his mind (and by extension, game) was off. A few years back Mitch Mac took a stupid penalty for getting into a fight in front of St Cloud's bench, which was his former team, and if I recall correctly, he never played for us again. Michaud, however, was always happy as a clam playing against his old team in CC.
  20. The guy saying this is definitely trying to find something to be positive about after a terrible loss, but applauding a guy who blew a tire to give up a breakaway, picked a fight with the smallest opponent on the ice, and then acted like a pro wrestling heel? Wilkie became an enemy when he popped his jersey, and now Tychonick is an enemy for making a fool of himself. At least Wilkie was celebrating some sort of success.
