Good to know, figured if he's testing free agency it was of his own volition. Don't get me wrong, what he did was a slap to the face of teammates and fans, but anytime a player goes the Wheeler/Vesey/etc. route it is bad for everyone in the game but that player.

Weatherby signed after being offered a spot because of a strong development camp (which was delayed because of the pandemic). Pitlick is burning the team that drafted him. It stung to lose Weatherby but what Pitlick is doing is bad for the game.

Two pretty much expected commits by younger siblings in Hage to Michigan and Plante to Duluth.

Beuker and Hextall are the remaining ones in the top ten I'm holding out hope for. Berchild would be an incredible coup. Someday Schloss will end up doing a where are they now? on a five year old Aug 1 list and it'll be interesting to see. Lots of section 8 and Moorhead kids announced for elite league, some prospects there too no doubt.

If we don't, there will be whiners here! Anyone with a good adviser and multiple offers they are entertaining should be waiting for the schools to roll out the red carpet on official visits.

I know, he's a SK kid but is eligible for NTDP in a similar fashion to BC resident EJ Emery.

Beuker is interesting; he is eligible for NTDP and lists Portland as his hometown because his mom is from here and met his dad when he played for the Winterhawks. Someone at beer league said they divorced and she's back in town.
