The one thing about Moore is he had a family connection to Berry. His dad or uncle played with and possibly roomed with Berry in the minors. Would have to go back to Moore's commit article in the Herald for specifics but I don't think either party would be malicious to the other based on this.
It was not well composed; brevity is key in humor. Textbook Minnesota passive aggressive too. But they earned the right to do it, just needed a few eyeballs and input before hitting send (like much of what is on social media).
Anyone with local ties is worth a look. Also, Omaha is essentially riding our coattails, let's turn them into a farm team. Tychonick and Tomek were sent down; Morelli, Ward, Archibald and Zombo all could have been "called up" under current rules.
But they're not spending any time there. The big difference is they are now older when they commit, used to be everyone was already committed when they joined the program anyways.
Something to consider is the extra day making energy management not as important as before. Usually when up by 4 you would let your 3rd and 4th lines skate most of the game, no need now.
That said, I fear this will be the weekend we look back at as when college hockey's golden era ended.
